What to do/eat/drink in Liverpool?

Just DP and I going for a couple of nights next month as we have a hotel voucher which needs using.

We’re early 30s and like good food, fancy cocktail bars, live music, shopping, activities like bowling or cinema. How should we spend our time? DP is also a Liverpool fan but not fanatical about football so is a stadium tour worth it? Or is there something better to see?

No one's mentioned the Everyman theatre? Shock

(Though current circumstances obviously ...)

It’s quite a limited situation with the Everyman at the moment @MayIDestroyYou There is a play on at the moment but I’m not sure about availability.

Yes - I'm sure.

In normal times going to see a play there (or at Unity) is my main excuse reason for going to Liverpool. Hope Street alone is lovely enough to occupy an overnight stay.

All the better if I can get to Sefton Park Palm House, and Crosby beach, too.

You can definitely spend a very enjoyable evening or two on Hope Street.
