Today I was offered an amazing job that’s quite a bit more money, got a fabulous hair do, met a friend for dinner, received some lovely flowers from my sister, was given a lovely gift by DH just because he thought I’d like it and found out a friend who has been struggling to conceive is pregnant. Today has been a good day!

I'm trying to work but next door's baby appears to have become possessed overnight and has been screaming since 3am. I'm not super familiar with baby behaviour but I'm fairly sure this is not a normal baby noise. Should I call an exorcist or push a bar of chocolate and a can of Red Bull through their letterbox for his mum?

Oh, that's rough! Chocolate and Red Bull sound perfect (or "Ted Bull", as my autocorrect would have it).

UnlimitedChips I feel bad sometimes because he's quite a cry-y baby (possibly a normal amount! I have no idea! Haha) and our walls are veryyyyy thin so I think they're concerned he's keeping me awake - but I am just up at weird hours anyway due to insomnia. So they can definitely hear me making a brew at 3am and I hope they don't think it's their fault... Every time I see them and they're like "ah god sorry about all the crying" I'm careful to mention how I tend to be awake all night anyway!

Aw, sounds like you are a nice neighbour. I'm paranoid about DD disturbing the neighbours, but there's only so much that can be done about a crying baby. At least you'll have some credit in the bank when you're up making noise in the middle of the night.

Nothing much to add apart from I'm sitting at my desk working but I've just made a massive milky coffee in the microwave and am listening to Terrorvision through my new speaker.

Terrorvision takes me back to my youth, just put them on YouTube for nostalgia sake.

It'd nice and sunny in Scotland today and I've got the house to myself for once so I'm going to go and expose my freckled ginger self to some UV rays!

Sorry for not replying sooner...had to wait for a post in between. Rules are rules (except when I accidentally break them ). OutKast's "Hey Ya" is one of my go-to cheer up songs.
