So. I was listening to Zoe Ball this morning and Joe Wicks came on which got me thinking...

He's a really nice bloke. But I really don't like him! So unmanly and squeaky of voice!

Same with Michael Ball. Annoying grin and smugness!

This is totally lighthearted by the way, but are there any celebs that are totally lovely, but you can't stand them? And why?

Bradley Cooper gives me the ick. He just seems mind-numbingly dull

I defy anyone in this world to not feel the love for Ben Shephard .

He's kind of on everything but I cannot recall any bad news stories on him.
Just doesn't seem the type ?

These are regular TV people so everyone knows them. Dave Grohl seems ok but he isn't on my tv everyday. But then celebrity is a thing I avoid. Can't see why people become invested with a film or tv person. Maybe as a child but as an adult??

@GerryManderson another one for David Attenborough (I did really used to love him as a child, I wanted to be a safari vet) but my reason is that I pissed my primary school teacher off by saying stag beetles were ugly and I was scared of them and he shouted at me saying David Attenborough would slap me if he heard me say that and I've ever since I've had negative associations.

I thought Piers Morgan was a given. He is the most unpleasant individual.

I think Peter Andre is very fake. There was a split second on Strictly when he didn't realise the camera was on him and was scowling bad-temperedly at one of the team, then as soon as he realised he was being filmed he plastered on this big cheesy smile. Tries to be appealing but it's all an act IMO.

I've had contact with him through work a few times and of all the people in the public eye I've had to work with (or for), Peter Andre has actually been one of the most laid back, polite and unassuming. He's very friendly the type to put you at ease. And he'd really have had zero reason to put on any sort of persona in front of me.

Going to join in and fess up. My nominations are

Richard Osman - I often watch Countdown but he really winds me up. He's so bloody self satisfied. Everyone seems to love him and DM keeps saying that she's going to lend me the book that he wrote. I just smile and say ok because I don't want to admit to being such a judgemental cow.

Sara Pascoe. I started watching her live stand up thing and just thought it was really painful and unfunny. When she's on Countdown or other panel shows II feel like I should be enjoying her performance but somehow it's just not funny and a bit cringy.

Also, as big French and Saunders fan, along with Vicar of Dibley, I was so disappointed when I saw Dawn French in her one woman show thing about her life. I invited a new friend and was quite embarrassed because I was almost forcing myself to laugh. It amazed me that people were raving about it as I spent the whole show getting more and more uncomfortable and praying for it to end!!

Feels v cathartic but strangely guilt inducing to be expressing these opinions
