Celebrities you should love, but don't!

So. I was listening to Zoe Ball this morning and Joe Wicks came on which got me thinking...

He's a really nice bloke. But I really don't like him! So unmanly and squeaky of voice!

Same with Michael Ball. Annoying grin and smugness!

This is totally lighthearted by the way, but are there any celebs that are totally lovely, but you can't stand them? And why?

Luckily I don't watch Phil'n'Holly but I've seen enough clips to tell me I don't want to .

Usually when they're doing some cookery with Gino , she'll say some faux "oh was that a bit rude" then dissolve into squeaky schreechy high pitched tittering .

Like Gino will give her a sample of food and she's all "Oh I can't get all this sausage in my mouth"
Cue Phil falling about laughing ( FYI , Fern did it first , funnier )
Holly is alll "What ? What's so funny ?......"
Then practically spitting out her food as she twigs the implication (that she's trying to be all coy but yeah , we get it . Gino/Meat/Your gob Ha Hmm )

Grow the Fuck Up , you're not 12 .

This is so accurate I can’t bear Phil and Holly I don’t know anyone who likes Phil

I don't mind James Cordon. At least he admits when he is wrong and also he didn't think his American show would do that well either. He seems ok and fairly grounded.
There are far worse than him around.
I agree that nobody likes Phillip Schofield anymore. He was liked a few years back, not sure what went wrong there! Him and Holly deserve each other!

Peter Kay, I heard once from a friend with a husband who does stand up that he's a bit of a prat towards the other acts to make himself look good. No idea if it's true or not but I've found him insufferable ever since.

Also, Amanda Holden after that comment on the Eurovision Song Contest.... can't bear her now.

@70isaLimitNotaTarget spot on ! Cannot stand Holly I've disliked her for years now other people are starting to see through her smug, little girl lost, screechy giggly ways! The innuendos and private jokes on this morning are ridiculous, god help any chef trying to demonstrate recipes on there, they are very rude and disrespectful to Phil vickery and James Martin. Ruth and Eammon all the way for me !!

I hardly watch telly these days (because it makes me fall asleep!!) but watch Naga on breakfast news and always quite liked her!
Loathe Lorraine Kelly with a passion, everything that comes out of her mouth sounds so insincere and like she’s being told to say it through her ear piece.
I do like Davina though, I don’t watch anything she’s in but I look at her SM accounts sometimes. I definitely don’t look enough to get annoyed by her Grin but I can see her as being quite a marmite sort of persona.
I hear a lot about people fawning over Tom Hardy, I’ve no idea who he is and wouldn’t know who he was if he moved next door! Same for a lot of celebs really, I don’t watch much tv, don’t buy gossip mags, don’t ever watch films… a lot of the culture surrounding ‘celebrity’ passes me by.

Whenever I see clips of Holly and Phil, it makes me cringe. It just feels so dumbed down and it's supposed to be an informative and interesting daytime show. It's like two, popular at school, teens are running it when they are on. I just don't get Holly. The whole Phil coming out drama was ridiculous! So over the top. FYI Phil. You're not the first!! Gives me the rage. I first felt that rage when they both presented the show, still wearing their outfits from an awards show, as they hadn't gone home. Unprofessional and so ridiculous.

Oh, he's another popular person I don't like. Can't stand his voice and delivery, he reminds me of Terry Wogan...who I also couldn't stand.

Anyone with the "housewives' favourite" label I tend to dislike.

Looks as if the money GF claimed was to furlough an employee . I guess it made sense to her at the time. But it’s all paid back now.

Ah see I see your point but there is something undefinable that I like about Ken. He really does seem genuine and empathetic whereas I always felt Terry was playing the part of broadcasting legend

Watching some rubbish last night, Summer farm I think its called... the blonde presenter was really irritating and dressed like she was on the real housewives, full face of make up, big hair and wearing all white!Confused
That’s Helen Skelton. She’s sometimes on Countryfile. A few years ago she was roped in to do interviews/analysis etc at the swimming events at The Olympics. (Bit of an uproar as she had no specific swimming expertise). Even more uproar when some of her outfits were deemed a bit skimpy. She said she just wore what the BBC told her to wear. Strangely enough Clare Balding and Gabby Logan were also presenting for the BBC but no skimpy/revealing outfits for them

Deborah Meaden is lovely!! She does a lot of charity stuff and came across great on Strictly.

As did Judy Murray who I love, she comes across as full of fun but she's another one people seem to dislike.

So I'm right then - she's lovely but I don't like her sorry. She just comes across as really hard faced - the scary businesswoman in her I guess 🤷‍♀️

Don't get me started on Judy Murray. I'm sure she's lovely, but if she didn't have a tennis champion son, would we even know who she is?

On Dragons Den it’s part of the show that the panel are hard faced and scary. If they were lovely then the show wouldn’t be the same. I mean some of the weird stuff they have to see. Grin
