Thankfully my pet name died out when I was very young or I'd really pity any future great grandchild been called Didding.
What horror could be inflicted on yours?

Is this a thread to help guess people's passwords?

Proven · 09/06/2021 23:27

Bucketarse

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 09/06/2021 23:45

@Melitza

no, but that's a nice image!
it's a "Chinese whispers" type end word that started with his name

Your first pets name is a classic password information gathering tactic. Stop sharing information that can be accessed by anyone on the Internet.

From my mum they'd be Darling, thats what she called me most. Maybe if they were a boy Darlington. Isn't that a place near York? 😂 They could also affectionately be known as Fatty, coined by my older sibling.

No “pet name” (nickname), not “pet’s name”. Smile

You’re right in general, though. People are careless with info online.

Isn't this to do with choice of name Lilibet?

My password is not little fattie.

BlondeRaven · 10/06/2021 00:25

I won’t say mine as too outing but I’ve always liked it, especially as it was mainly my Dad and close family members who call/ed it me.

my DF called my dB fathead when he was little, it changed later in life it was dickhead for a while, mr angry for the rest of his life just not to his face though, well not after my DF bought him a Mr Angry Mr Men book as a Christmas present one year anyway, he really did live up to his nickname after that 😂

Poppet or Mr Magoo... Grin

This is a common security question for password resets. Why on earth would people want to say these things online???!!!

altamory · 10/06/2021 00:30

I have never seen your childhood pet name as a password reset question. But if I did I would make something up, not use the real answer. It is too easily guessed.

It’s not.

The name of your childhood pet is a common security question.

Not the “pet name” you were called by your family.

I've never, ever seen a childhood pet name as a security question. For anything. Ever.

Name of a pet, yes.

Childhood pet name as in a name you were called as a child, no.

Terrible nickname, but apt.

Coming from a not very nice environment for a few early years my childhood pet name by my so called mother was little bitch, thankfully I had a wonderful father who when was finally allowed to see me got me out of the awful place with the help of the courts.

Aren't men simply awful hey 🙄

LoveFall · 10/06/2021 08:05

It is so cliche, but my Father, even in his most sentimental moments in his eighties, and my fifties, once in awhile called me Little Girl. It made me melt every time, I can assure you Little Girl was not descriptive of me at that point in my life.

I miss him so much.
