Thankfully my pet name died out when I was very young or I'd really pity any future great grandchild been called Didding.
What horror could be inflicted on yours?

This is outing, because a few people know this, but Myra Hindley. (My uncle used to call me that, he was a knob)

Parental nickname - Bab or Clarence.

DS's nickname is Tombalina Ballerina Grin or Biggus Dickus (long story and nothing to do with his physique).

Poggy Grin

Nona, which used to amuse my Italian aunt as it approximated to nonna, granny in Italian. Appropriate at the time.

R0SEMARY · 09/06/2021 17:54

La la

frugalkitty · 09/06/2021 17:55

Jellybabiesforbreakfast · 09/06/2021 17:57

Been mentioned already. Chicken.

My DC is called Little Bear, which I think is better.

FrenchFancie · 09/06/2021 17:59

Urgh. Mine was Tor which I hated!! No one calls me that, ever, except my mum. Would not want it inflicted on someone else!!

inigomontoyahwillcox · 09/06/2021 17:59

Katkins

notsodimwit · 09/06/2021 18:00

Twinky Grin I have always been called this since a baby.. I am nearly 60 now and my sister and all living aunts/uncles still call me this..

Iknowtheanswer · 09/06/2021 18:00

Poppet. I miss my dad even typing that.

Dunnesstores · 09/06/2021 18:03

I think we also need to add in what the future shortened name would be just for an extra laugh.
So my Didding could be Diddy or Didi for a cute spellingGrin

It would be either Four-eyes or Beanpole.

CarlottaValdez · 09/06/2021 18:03

Thunder Thighs Hmm

FlemCandango · 09/06/2021 18:05

Heffalump 😂

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 09/06/2021 18:09

Another Tilly Bud here (all north west?). Although that was actually used for all of us.

My own pet name would be Calamity. I was a clumsy child. Blush

Forestdweller11 · 09/06/2021 18:09

Dobby (as in the house elf), dobs, dobster

BlueLobelia · 09/06/2021 18:11

Chickadee.

DS1's grandchild would be 'potty botty'.

GreenWheat · 09/06/2021 18:12

Rastus. Sounds more like a pretentious name for a boy these days rather than an abbreviation for a little girl!

OldTinHat · 09/06/2021 18:13

Chick.
