Anti chaffing tights

Hi Follks

So summer has hit and I love wearing nice summer dresses but the thing chaff is something serious. I've seen that M&S have these but not great reviews about them. I've seen others online. Just not sure what's best. Anyone any suggestions? Have you tried any that are a good buy?

Thanks Smile

I just bought the cooling chafing shorts feo &s and they are comfy!

I sized up rather than down (i'm a 14-16) so got the 16-18 as i'm study of leg

They fit well in the leg but a little loose in the waist so they don't really hold me in like spanx would!

Snag! I love them. Amazing tights and shorts. Give them a go. I've found everything from them brilliant 😊

SellFridges · 06/06/2021 20:44

I just bought some Snag anti chaffing shorts and they were brilliant on first wear.

Thanks bookish & keeoe yes not looking for a spanx type (that boat sailed a looong time agoGrin) just something that fits nicely under a dress or skirt without sticking out too much and stops that damed chaffing. I seen Snag advertised but didn't know if they were any good. Going to check them out now. DD who is a small size 10 said she would like ones too. Worst thing about warm weather and dresses (and thighs!!!)

Snag do from size 6 - 36 and I think do kids items. They are brilliant

BertieBob · 06/06/2021 21:07

Another vote for Snag

Beast45270 · 06/06/2021 21:10

My girlfriend bought me some anti chaffing tights today for my outfit she gave me im ngl there really comfortable in my opinion

LizzieVereker · 06/06/2021 21:11

I wish I’d discovered Snag years ago, I’d have worn a lot more dresses! They are amazing.

GAW19 · 06/06/2021 21:13

I got a pair of cotton cycling shorts from SHEIN and they are so comfy, not sweaty at all!

BettyUnderswoob · 06/06/2021 21:37

I wear cheap cycling shorts, or £3 leggings from Primark that I cut down to the desired length.

Sometimes vaseline or stick deodorant instead!

MaMelon · 06/06/2021 21:42

Primark had short cotton cycling shorts for a bargainous £3 when I was in on Saturday - I’m going back to get some for my holidays.

JennyinWales · 06/06/2021 21:43

Never bought any before but with the lockdown weight gain think it might be needed. Thanks for the reccs, will look in Primark!

RockPainting · 06/06/2021 21:43

Make-up primer is good for stopping the rub. Any will do.

ArseholesOnToast · 06/06/2021 21:44

Another vote for Snag. I’ve got three pairs of chub rubs and more on order. They’re amazing and they have lots of fun colours. Their tights are good too.

Cockenspiel · 06/06/2021 21:45

Big Bloomers Company, have got 5 different pairs and all are comfy :)

RosieRabbit17 · 06/06/2021 21:45

Liquid talc has been a game changer for me!

voxnihili · 06/06/2021 21:46

I also use primark cycle shorts. I also use them under a couple of pairs of trousers that I have where the seam rubs my inner thigh.

Russell19 · 06/06/2021 21:46

Snag are great but I find mind aren't quite long enough, or maybe I'm just taller than average.
@GAW19 do you have the link to your SHIEN ones?

stevalnamechanger · 06/06/2021 21:48

Cycling shorts!

Legoandloldolls · 06/06/2021 21:50

Snag or it's a shorter dress that might show primark cycling type cotton shorts. I also bought some forom big bloomers and they look more sturdy but my snag ones are years old and still going strong.

TokyoSushi · 06/06/2021 21:53

I've got some M&S ones on for the first time this evening (the £12 ones) they're lovely and make such a difference!

AuntieStella · 06/06/2021 21:58

I know this is not hat you're asking for.

But two products to try to combat chafing (useful when it's too damned hot to want to be adding layers)

  • Body Glide - sold for distance runners, works extremely well
  • liquid talc
AngeloMysterioso · 06/06/2021 21:59

I wear cycling shorts, don’t want my entire legs and feet covered by tights, especially in summer.

Body Glide is great stuff too.

prampushingdownthehighst · 06/06/2021 22:02

I totally agree with AuntieStella
Forget shorts and use Body Glide, absolute game changer

SingleHandSue · 06/06/2021 22:05

I’ve just discovered the Snag ‘chub rub’ shorts too, they’re brilliant! Thin so don’t feel hot and so stretchy that they fit over my big arse and belly brilliantly.
