Driving through a popular beach resort on my way to work this morning and the crap & litter and piled up rubbish absolutely everywhere was staggering.
Piles of rubbish clearly just tipped out of a car door...literally less than a foot from a huge bin with a huge open “Chuck in” open mouth every where.

Just why?
They brought it with them, why don’t they take it with them or bin it?
Do they not listen to HRH David Attenborough and his messages about throwing crap around the planet?

It’s up there with dog shit leavers, dirty dirty bastards.

When my magical powers kick in the first spell I'm going to cast will magically transport all litter (including dirty nappies, sanitary towels and dog shit) from where it was discarded, and tuck it underneath the pillow on the offenders bed.
I like to think of their dismay as they go to climb into bed and find their filthy chickens have come home to roost. Much like the dismay the rest of us feel when we are enjoying the outdoors and come across their orcish filth.

@oneglassandpuzzled

I think people used to be more conscientious but two things happened. The IRA bombing campaign meant litter bins were removed for years, and then festivals encouraged people to leave their rubbish where they dropped it. So somehow a whole generation believes someone will clear up after them.
Festivals rarely encourage people to leave rubbish, many pay you for returned cups etc.

In my Eutopia I would introduce the death penalty for a the single offence of throwing litter out of a car window. It is so absurdly easy to take your litter home with you that any fucker who can't be bothered to do it deserves everything they get IMO. I think it would be a very effective way of ridding humanity of some very unpleasant people.

@imaginethemdragons

Excuse me! I do not drop any crap anywhere ever.

I grew up in Germany where littering is an absolute no no 100% no one drops litter at all ever.

I stand by my opening post, dirty lousy bastards.

Agree 100% with cardboard cut outs of HRH Sir David Attenborough at every beauty spot in the country. Looking stern though , his stern stare I imagine to be very powerful.

Um what? Where in Germany does nobody ever drop litter?! I would say that there is possibly slighty less littering than in the UK and the streets are cleaned more thoroughly and regularly but there are still plenty of filthy, lazy, littering bastards here too.

I get even more upset by vandalistic bastards who snap new trees in half, uproot plants from planters, and trash new benches and other things designed to make our communities nicer. We've got lots of community noticeboards in our town, and some twat set one on fire. Why??

imaginethemdragons · 02/06/2021 20:39

Yep.
West Germany, spotless, absolutely pristine.
Extremely antisocial and frowned upon to drop your crap.
Just no one does it.
Great place to grow up & gain litter disposal standards.
Spotless.

West Germany?! Have you not been back since reunification? It's not like that anymore, sorry. People litter here plenty.

@LubaLuca love this! Cheeky cow

Thesearmsofmine · 02/06/2021 21:01

Some people are just selfish sods. It is really very simple to take your rubbish home with you. We walk along our local canal regularly and people seem to think it is their own personal dumping ground, some of it is clearly from the houses that back into the canal as it would have had to have been thrown over their back fence, you’d think they’d want to take care of the area they live in.

murbblurb · 02/06/2021 21:22

No , don't leave rubbish next to the bin unless you are a dirty bitch. You brought it with you so you can take it home. Trouble is a lot of people this disgusting breed and teach their scummy kids to leave litter. As is visible near any school.

Tigerstripe20 · 02/06/2021 21:22

People just don't care, it's always someone else's problem, someone else will clear it up.

Trains & planes also get left by the minority in a shit state ,people even change their babies on plane seats and stuff the dirty nappies in the seat pockets.

I commented about people leaving their rubbish on train tables on another forum and got ripped apart for being 'judgemental' and that people must have a reason for leaving their litter.

Our throwaway society has a lot to answer for.
