Swim robe / dressing gown with cat design? Does it exist?!

DD is obsessed with cats. She starts back at swimming lessons next week (wohoo!) and I need a towelling dressing gown, or a swim poncho / swim robe for her, as they can't get changed in the pool yet.

DD has asked for one with a cat on. Sure, I said, I didn't think it'd be that hard! But cats aren't in, it would appear. Unicorns, sloths, pugs, yes. Cats? No.

Can anyone help? A cat design would be great, or a cat ears - or as a back up, leopard print maybe.

She's tall for her age, she fits size 10-11 clothes - but she's only 8, so still likes designs for kids.

Does anyone have any tips on where to look? Thanks :)

(It need to be in the UK so I can get it delivered in time. There are a bunch on Amazon but they're from China).

My dds both use fleece dressing gowns for swimming lessons at the moment so I wouldn't rule out fleece. They're very soft and cosy.

It let me add it to the basket in decathlon but I'm in belfast, not sure if that makes a difference. I wasn't logged in or anything

We're planning to spend quite a bit of time at the beach too and although I'm sure fleece is grand for getting home from swimming, I really wanted towelling (or microfibre) as that's better for getting dry when you come out of the sea.

Awwww I'm a real cat fan so like to enable all kitty based behaviour. Ours is too far here for me to help you with it. You could try ringing the Belfast store asking if they can post you one. It shouldn't be this difficult 😺

I think I might go for the embroidered patch route.

I can't find ones with horses, guinea pigs or hamsters either.

I'm sure it says something about society that it's easier to find clothes with unicorns on that cats. I'm not sure what it is, but it feels off to me!

However, I've admitted defeat and ordered this from Boden. They only had it in a size above but it's fine for beach dresses to be huge isn't it! And it'll last.

Decathlon says it has 2 of the cat surfer ponchos in stock in my local decathlon. I'm in town tomorrow and could pick one up and post it to you and you could send me the money on paypal?
