I can't believe people sometimes. I suppose I can somewhat understand the excitement of having people interested in your life in a way that just writing an online story wouldn't get you but it is very selfish.

I thought the sudden announcement about the friend dying of Covid was a bit odd, maybe it was something like that that made someone question it

Ah ok. I hadn’t caught up with the thread today so didn’t see anything about a covid death. I am always a bit suspicious of threads where the op updates every tiny thing though. Does anyone remember the one that ran for 3 threads about a woman who had met a guy online dating and was he interested or not? She’d sent him a book. That op was updating every bloody second and it did seem a bit odd. That one was also deleted due to all being lies!

I suppose it entertained people! Like an interactive story.

It had the hallmarks. Made me wonder if it was ‘beribboned book’ troll.

FFS. It was giving me weird vibes, but it was so tame and uneventful I wouldn't have twigged it was made up.
