Have you bought yourself something nice lately that you would recommend?

Looking for inspiration, but honestly don't know where to start!

Perfume recommendations especially welcome! Wink

Some manky old step ladders!!
To upcycle and hopefully improve my mh along the way!

BlackeyedSusan · 19/05/2021 19:53

Real wool yarn. Oops.

YukiCarrot · 19/05/2021 19:55

That's a lovely idea!! Definitely a worthwhile project to keep you busy Smile

Something for my little business that I've been thinking about for months and kept putting off but it's pushed sales up massively and I love it ❤️

La vie est belle
Gabrielle
For perfume recommendation

A monthly off peak membership at a local well-being and yoga place. Loving it.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 19/05/2021 20:02

I bought myself the first new perfume in years and I love it
YSL libre Fresh, light but lasting

Toilenstripes · 19/05/2021 20:02

4160 Tuesday perfume called Take Me to the River. It smells divine and lasts on me for about 6 hours.

Lostinthewilderness · 19/05/2021 20:02

Two new nail varnishes & a Hobbs NW3 skirt from a charity shop for a fiver today.

Latest “big” thing was a gravel bike, which I adore

cronk23 · 19/05/2021 20:05

A dyson hairdryer. Expensive but as my holiday was cancelled I felt I could justify it.

lachy · 19/05/2021 20:07

Does a Kenwood stick blender count?

LavendulaAngustifolia · 19/05/2021 20:11

A wooden arm chair which I found at the charity shop for £10. Almost perfect condition just needed a clean and a polish and it looks wonderful. It's going to be my reading chair in the conservatory at the new house when we move.

Darklane · 19/05/2021 20:12

Nail polish, a Lola Rose necklace & dog treats.

MrsBerthaRochester · 19/05/2021 20:14

A pale green Polka dot midi dress from Primark which is surprisingly flattering and Ysl Mon Paris perfume which is gorgeous.

MauveVarnish · 19/05/2021 20:14

I bought myself some Neom Scent to Destress bath foam. It was lovely.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/05/2021 20:15

Wellies and a raincoat on order. Exciting times.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/05/2021 20:16

Oh and a few bits from Mac - eyeshadow duo in one of their palettes, new Teddy eyeliner, fixing spray stuff.

Jumpingintosummer · 19/05/2021 20:36

Jo Malone wood sage and sea salt

Scarby9 · 19/05/2021 20:40

Unnecessary treats I have bought recently:
A bag of baked cheese and onion crisps in the garage while buying petrol;
A fabulous hand made Battenburg at the farmers' market where I went for vegetables.
A set of patterned fsce masks from Seasalt.
I really need to get out more. I've forgotten how to do treats properly.
That said, I enjoyed all three.

Flappityflippers1 · 19/05/2021 20:41

Some new t shirts and trousers (just white t shirts and blue linen trousers, nothing special!), white canvas trainers to go with them. I had my second baby 8 weeks ago and was determined not to live in maternity leggings forever more!

Also treated myself to some freemie cups as I’m exclusively pumping breastmilk for my baby - they’ve been such a game changer and am truly hands free now!

Mumdiva99 · 19/05/2021 20:43

New slippers. Arrived today. Like birkenstocks but with fluff!! I love them.

BillGigolo · 19/05/2021 20:44

Sylvaine Delacourte and Walden perfume discovery sets. I definitely do not need more perfume but I love it and discovery sets are a pretty inexpensive way for me to indulge! I also may be buying some orange blossom scented pencils Grin

@Flappityflippers1 exclusively pumping - you are a heroine and deserve all the treats, woman.

picturesandpickles · 19/05/2021 20:45

I got some decent cushions for the sofa and some lovely plants for the garden.

TheChosenTwo · 19/05/2021 20:46

A load of stuff I fancied from cult beauty.
A couple of dresses I liked the look of even though I have nowhere in mind to wear them!
Some trainers as ASOS were doing 20% off everything.
4 books (does this count as a treat? I think this is more ‘educational’ 😂 well I say it all the time when I buy books for dc so I’m fairly confident it’s also the case for adults and one of them was a cookbook anyway).
Some updated photo magnets for the fridge (actually this isn’t really a treat for me is it, this is surely a household purchase so maybe that doesn’t count).
Made an order from Lush that hasn’t yet arrived but definitely counts even though I will share with the dc.
I’m over generous with the self treats Grin
