Yeah it was, as I say there are some great episodes like the Halloween one, hush and when faith wakes up but the initiative and Adam let it down

I think spuffy really is love or hate for people, I do love Grin Season 6 is top contender for my favourite season, it really felt like they were all growing up and it has so many brilliant episodes

Apparently the role was actually made for a 12 year old, but Sarah Michelle Geller, recommended Michelle Tractchenburg and the role never got matured up to her age level

I also hated when they kept talking about buffy dying to bring about the next slayer. One wouldn't be called until faith died.
Also, shout out to Nathan Fillion being awesome as Caleb. Amazing baddie with an amazing death 😂

Dawn is the most annoying character by far. All she does is whine. I can't bear her and wish they hadn't wrote her in (although I'll admit it was clever how they did).

Also, team Spuffy, right up until the almost-rape.

Yes, he gave a talk when I was in the audience and I'll never forget how he spoke about that scene. He said he told Joss Whedon, "You don't understand what you're asking me to do." It seems to have really disturbed him, even years later.

To turn someone, they have to suck the vampire's blood after the vampire has sucked theirs. Presumably no slayer would ever agree to do it, even to save her life?

Dawn was definitely immature for the age she was meant to be so she didn't fit in especially with everyone else becoming more adult in season 6.

I don't believe spike was the love of her life but I feel like that more casual relationship was good for Buffy after the intense and dramatic relationships with Angel and Riley.

I can’t remember the exact quote but I loved it when Willow was shouting out about how Buffy (or someone else) couldn’t handle the fact she was dating Tara, and Giles can be heard from upstairs going “bloody hell!”

I don't actually mind Dawn. Sure she was whiny, but your average teenager is whiny let alone one with her life. If I had to grow up in the shadow of a slayer older sister, then my dad abandoned me, then I found out I wasn't real, my mum dies, my sister dies.. all before my 16th birthday I'd be whiny too!

I remember reading Michelle Tractchenburg say she felt as her character got older she felt she was written younger and younger. Dont think she was impressed with the writing. How it came across on screen as well..grating!

Never got the whole Buffy the main slayer..after she died again Faith was! But that seemed forgotten about in season 7..which itself was so mish mash.

Having seen the thread on Wednesday, put the cd in my car to listen to on the way to work on Thursday, enjoyed it so much I listened along again on Friday, and spent the weekend with most of it replaying in an earworm ("I have a theory..."), I had finally got it out of my system, and then this thread pops up in active chat again and the cycle starts all over again.

My mind has just exploded.

Turns out, Tucker Wells (The Prom- hell hound raiser) was the singing voice in Aladdin. AND he provided the singing voice for Jonathan in Superstar.

And he’s married to Eve from Angel!

Can you tell I fell down a Buffy rabbit hole today? 😂

So many brilliant episodes. I loved Storyteller from Season 7, though I didn’t like the Potentials storyline (Was anybody more hated than Kennedy?)

Is Angel on any streaming service? I've never been able to find it.
