I just ate a Belgian bun

I went to the shop to buy some spinach.
They didn't have any. So I bought a Belgian bun.

For various reasons the last few weeks have been quite tough. I don't usually eat cakes or biscuits, but the Belgian bun just jumped out at me.

So I've made a nice coffee and just eaten it.
Totally unnecessary.

But gosh it was delicious!

Someone gave me a Yum Yum the other day. So outrageous. But delish!

I'm sorry you waited this long in life to live a little dangerously. The Yum Yum is exquisite, isn't it? Gregg's Yum Yums (I have to whisper this. I live near Waitrose and Gail's) are ridiculously good.

No! Not Gregg's Yum Yums.

It's Lidl's Yum Yum that are the dog's bollocks. They have runny caramel in the centre 😋

Belgian buns should be cut in half, spread with lemon curd, then whipped cream.

I was going to buy some fresh cream and jam long donuts today but there wasn't any left. However on the yellow sticker shelf there were several boxes of them, so i bought a box of 2, then ate both!

So, if I ate spinach yesterday, I would be well within my rights to buy a Belgian bun today, yes?????
