What's for tea today?

I fancy something new to try so hoping one of you will inspire me.

We're having gammon; not sure whether as a roast or, with egg & pineapple, yet. Golden syrup cake, warm, with ice cream for pudding 😋

Chicken thighs in a Nando’s marinade, with corn on the cob, spicy rice and salad

Beef rage with bucatini pasta.

Curry goat! with lots of greens

Steak Pie, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes and green beans and carrots.

M&S Strawberry Gateau, ice cream and cream.
Dd is having ice cream and jelly.

Sunday tea is always sandwiches, crisps and cake because we eat our main meal at lunchtime.

Roast lamb and Greek style potatoes and all the veg.

Mince, carrot, onion & mash...and oldie but a goodie!

I was going to have a Thai curry, but the sun is out so I’m meeting some friends for a walk and we’ll grab a takeaway - burgers or Korean... not sure which!

We're having Cottage pie for lunch, eating outside with the in-laws so wanted something easy to eat and warm as it's still bloody freezing here

Duck breasts, roast potatoes and roast veg with a sauce for the duck.

I’m actually not keen on duck but am having it as fussy DS likes duck and I’m always at him to be more adventurous with foods so I’m putting my money where my mouth is. Fussy DS is 19 btw!

Tea is sandwiches and cake. Lunch is Italian chicken with pasta.

Sea bass fillet with ginger and lime, herby baby potatoes and tender stem broccoli

Roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, green veg x 2 (not decided which), cumin roasted cauliflower, sausage meat stuffing, gravy. Strawberry trifle for pudding.
I’m about to go and start it, I cook it all between 1-3 (shouting at EP on R2), we usually eat ready for Sound of the 70’s with JW at 3pm.
Sundays in the kitchen is my chill time, love Sunday afternoons.

Pan fried salmon, cheesy leeks, baby potatoes and broccoli.

Fish kebabs and chips.

Home made pizza

Ratatouille.

Diced pork marinated overnight is Soy, Garlic and Ginger. With rice and salad.

And baklava for dessert.

Homemade pizza although I forgot the yeast in the Tesco shop so need to find the energy to walk to Sainsbury’s to buy some

I'm not sure I like the sound of beef rage!

I made this the other day and it was absolutely beautiful. It's such a simple dish, I've made similar hundreds of times but there was something about this recipe which was just magic!! Will deffo be making it again.

We've really treated ourselves his weekend so we're having:

Côte de boeuf with herb butter
Mashed potatoes
Buttered cabbage
Yorkshire puddings
Red wine & beef gravy

Home made choc chip toffee apple crumble & custard.
