Aldi products to try

Anyone want to share what they’ve bought and enjoyed recently? Always looking to shake things up without deviating too far from the shopping list!

Two of my recent successes:

• mozzarella and sun dried tomato filled pasta
• sweety drop red peppers (jarred mini red peppers, quite hot)

the raspberry and pomegranite layered yoghurts in the extra special range not cheap but lush

Possibly not what you're asking, but their Haysmith's Rose and Pink Grapefruit gin is delicious!

Their plum and apple chutney is lovely in a cheese sandwich.
Plant based fake frozen steak bakes made me feel a bit dirty but really hit the spot.

The 'flamin Hot' flavour chicken thigh burgers from the freezer section. They taste almost as good as KFC zinger burgers.
The buttermilk fish burgers taste exactly like McDs fillet o'fish according to ds1.

The chicken with patas bravas is amazing!

Salted pretzel milk chocolate

Collosal greek olives

Any red wine

Italian chicken chipolatas.
Southern fried fish burgers are lovely.
My kids love the toad in the hole and were very disappointed to discover it’s a seasonal item.

Salted Caramel or Coconut Greek Style Yogurt

Any of their Pizzas

Moser Roth chocolate, especially Mint or Vanilla

Lacura - Rose Micellar Water and Rose Toner

Dark chocolate digestives, sun dried tomatoes with garlic, stir in pasta sauce, new vegan chocolate, rhubarb and rose handwash, deodorant (it really works), foil (so much cheaper than most supermarkets), extra virgin olive oil ... and if I had a garden I'd really want one of their hanging egg seat things

Melt in the middle Belgian chocolate puddings. The girl at the checkout today said 'have you had these before? They're amazing!'

Their posh pizzas are really lovely

Toro Loco red wine. V cheap but nice!

I second the jar of tiny red peppers. Waitrose used to sell them but stopped ages ago so I was really pleased to find them in Aldi last week.

These two are a bit at odds but anyway

Their Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is amazingly good

I love the raspberry effervescent vitamin C tablets!

@HmmmmmmInteresting I think there is an actual large cookie that you put in the oven and it melts, so good with a dollop of ice cream on top

I stocked up on the artisan breadsticks and flatbreads that are so much more expensive in Tesco!!

The specially selected fillet steak is very good. Also Aldi's version of Fage Greek yoghurt.

Quite a few of the yogurts - the farmhouse ones in jars, layered custard rhubarb ones - my favourite ones are the thick and creamy raspberry ones. Probably terrible for you but amazingly delicious

@HmmmmmmInteresting there is another one 😂 it’s in the chilled section with the trifle, cheesecakes etc
You bake it in the oven for about 15/20 mins and it’s all warm & the chocolate melts 🤤🤤 xXx

I didn't realise they did the sweet drop peppers! I was literally talking about these peppers with my mum today. Never found them hot though just sweet the ones I had before.

Also bought the cookie dessert for 45p and never got round to cooking it as it went out of date. Now I've read on here it's nice I'll have to buy another.

I love Aldi's chocolate. It's so nice.

Their Carlo's big garlic pizza bread is nice.

My mum loves the sweet chilli chicken thighs from the fresh aisle.

Oh and oaties! 45p and better than hobknobs!
