I'm just having my first cup of tea, listening to the rain outside & occasional chirp from the birds. It's very peaceful.

We were going to town; to the market, and Primark for some things the girls need. I think that might wait for next weekend maybe!

Housework's up to date, so I think we'll have a lazy day instead. The girls will most likely minecraft & I'll probably carry on with my crochet project. I do need to pick up a card but think I'll save that for on my way home from work on Monday when I'll be out anyway.

Hotdogs for tea, dd2's request. Must not forget the fried onions this time!

Hi Lucysmam - haven’t spotted you around since the Xmas threads I don’t think!

Nothing exciting planned here. Been up since 6.45 with the dog so I’m on my second cuppa and have had toast.

Just washing and vacuuming planned today house wise I think. Might sort some bits out in my room. I have a new empty drawer unit that I could usefully sort.

Think I’ll spend the afternoon on the sofa with a book!

Sitting in bed in our van listening to the rain on the roof drinking a cuppa wondering if its worth heading down to the beach! Bought DVDs and games if we can't face it but as its fish and chips for tea I think we are going to have to brave the weather at some point!!

Rain forecast all day here so I'm going to do some cleaning, a home workout and have a nice chilled morning. Later ds and I might pop out to visit my mum then go to the shops for snacks tonight. Then it'll be takeaway, movie and bed!

Was up bring out pup in rain early and then feeding her before making a pot of coffee (DH appeared at that point so I only got 1.5 mugs, not the full pot, grr).

He's just gone to take pup for a walk, while I get myself dressed and organised to make 25 Cub Scouts go swimming in the sea in a couple of hours time (which will probably mean me going in too).

My plan is a hot bath when I get in, sausage buttie for lunch, possibly paperwork or tidying or folding clothes for the afternoon, and possibly bbq tonight as the weather should have cleared.

We are meant to have gone out for the day instead we are under blankets on our second coffee, think we will stop here today have a Chinese for tea.

Rain =day in and decided to do a roast today being as stuck in so to speak. Then if dry tomorrow we're not tied down cooking a roast.
I got to pop out for some bits later for an hour that's about it

I'm still in bed. Dd6 has just made us all cheese sandwiches and is very proud of herself.

I've got a mountain of orders to get through so it'll be a TV and tablet day for the dc. I'll try to get them out for a wander round B&Q before they go to their Dads. Very exciting day!

We aren't up to much, need to tidy up a bit, let DS play with his sensory tray (there will be rice everywhere after 😭), make a lasagne for tea and maybe brave the rain to walk the dogs. Rain forecast here all day too. Need to get in the greenhouse really too...

Going to do some cleaning as a bomb must of hit my house this week 😂, food shopping, bit of minecraft with my DC as it's chucking it down today and then binging Jupiter's legacy on Netflix with DP Later. Nice easy day!

I am going to look at wedding dresses with my BF, I had planned to bring her back here and sit in the garden with champagne and basically spoil her.

Good morning, lucysmam and everyone. I’m having a quiet day today after a busy week and with a very challenging week ahead. I was awake stupidly early so I’m on the second load of laundry and I’ve got a pot of veggie sausage stew base on the hob. Contemplating making chutney but would have to go to Co-op and allotment for the fresh ingredients and the weather is dreich so it probably won’t happen. Now browsing and having a mug of coffee substitute (because I can’t drink the real stuff anymore 🙁)

Just grumped at Dp for putting on a cute voice and asking to be brought coffee in bed. he said he was tired and works hard. I guess I spoilt the morning! Looking at tidying up and mending the plumbing under the sink. Might make bread, yum!

And just had a superb kitchen dance to a Bellowhead track 😁

Morning All. DS2 has woken up covered in hives..... no idea of cause. Given him piriton , will see how he goes. He was ment to have a swimming lesson but probably best to leave it for today.
I think it will be a day into day with usual housework, washing etc. Maybe watch a film or play some games.

Well you wait all year for a haircut then it pisses it down .......

So yes, off for a haircut today and to buy my dmum a birthday present.

DH is painting our en-suite. I’m lazing around about to make myself another coffee.

No idea what the rest of the house is doing tbh. DMIL was in bed listening to the radio last I checked. DC are probably watching TV.

I am overall incredibly stressed and will be even more anxious and cross with myself later if I don’t get something accomplished. So I guess baking/cleaning for me today. Also I’m taking the DC swimming later.

Sausage/lentil hotpot thing for dinner tonight. It’s my turn to cook .

Just been for a thoroughly miserable walk with the toddler and dog in pelting rain and wind. They both now blame me for everything. Might do my callanetics DVD later. We were going to go for a long walk with a friend this afternoon but given the weather we're staying in! I think we'll make biscuits.

I'm cuddling with the kitten and a cup of tea. Have to drive to Essex today to collect a rescue cat and it's absolutely chucking it down. Our shower in the en suite exploded just before 1am, god only knows how or why and there are now thousands and thousands of shards of glass everywhere so that needs to be dealt with. I just want to go back to bed!!

Going to do some online job hunting. I'm stuck in a bit of a rut at work and it feels like it's starting to affect my MH which isn't good - and doesn't feel worth it for a part time job! So going to see what else is out there..

Morning all. I'm lying in bed listening to the rain, thinking about my day. I was supposed to be having a people free weekend but off to see a friend tonight now, so will mooch about today I think.

Need to tidy the house as I got half way through a clear out last weekend then left it and will go for a run at some point, coming home via the bakery

My fiancé's birthday today (first one as a daddy!) so he's opened his pressies and we're going to visit his mum in Liverpool as soon as our 11 month old wakes from his morning nap, I love reading what everyone is doing!

Very rainy in West Yorkshire today, have already braved an early walk with Legopup & apart from dog walks later have very little planned. Currently drinking coffee, reading the papers & mumsnetting, while the first load of washing is on. DH is working for some of the day, DS has a drama lesson this morning.

Will do some baking & make chicken en croute for tea, & plan to light the wood burner early & start the new Ian Rankin this afternoon. It's been a busy week at work & I met a friend for coffee yesterday, so a quiet day at home suits me fine, not sure the puppy will feel the same though
