I'm just having my first cup of tea, listening to the rain outside & occasional chirp from the birds. It's very peaceful.

We were going to town; to the market, and Primark for some things the girls need. I think that might wait for next weekend maybe!

Housework's up to date, so I think we'll have a lazy day instead. The girls will most likely minecraft & I'll probably carry on with my crochet project. I do need to pick up a card but think I'll save that for on my way home from work on Monday when I'll be out anyway.

Hotdogs for tea, dd2's request. Must not forget the fried onions this time!

Morning all

Been up since precisely 08:41 with my little one, older kid just woke up now.

Going to probably spend the next few hours lazing in front of tele. It’s raining so can’t really do much. Glad I had the laundry out yesterday so the bed sheets are all nice and dry which means less housework today x

My DH is going to build our outdoor bar. Thankfully we have already built the structure so he has a big area undercover to work in.

DD is going in the hot tub with her Barbies whilst he works on the bar and I may go to IKEA but if this rain doesn't stop I may just leave it until tomorrow and read a Jackie Collins and sit under the shelter listening to the rain

Well, it was going to be a run, a bike ride, then gardening.

However, the rain is lashing down so I haven’t got any further than porridge and coffee in bed and titting about on my phone.

Clubs clubs clubs!

Flute lesson, the ballet then footy for the kids.

Had bacon and eggs this morning then off to clubs and taking puppy to puppy class.

Taking DD out for lunch and a bit of shopping this afternoon and then home for a takeaway this evenings. Getting my vaccination later today too so it’s a big red letter day! 😁😁

Dreich day here too! Will take the dog out later so hoping it clears up. Lovely and quiet here - sitting on the sofa with the dog, two of the cats and my bf. Birds tweeting, trees rustling. All good. Have a lovely Saturday everyone

Took the pup for a walk in the rain. She ended up having a whale of a time with another dog. Home and soak in the bath. Now cosy on the sofa and contemplating watching The Lord of the Rings.

Pissing it down here in London. We’ve had a big family snuggle in bed - I dozed while DP and DD watched stuff on phone and iPad. Transferred the snuggle to the sofa, with cartoons on telly.

DP’s about to take DD to Sainsbury’s to choose some biscuits - this is very exciting as DD has LDs and mobility problems so hasn’t been able to go into a shop for the past year+.
I’ll get stuck into some laundry and clothes sorting while listening to my audiobook.

Not sure what we’ll do for the rest of the day. DD is desperate to get into the garden or go to the park but we’ll need to be feeling strong, as it’s So Damned Wet.

Up early-ish here and I cleaned the kitchen. Hairdresser has been and coloured and cut my hair for the first time since December so I am feeling very swishy. DS1 is in his room playing games on his phone. DS2 is playing a made-up game and talking incessantly. I'm having a cup of tv now. We will watch the football at 12.30pm and maybe a film this afternoon. The weather is awful here so not planning to go out. Probably have sandwiches for lunch and fish and chips for tea.

Your weekends all sound lovely ! I'm nursing a migraine in bed while my dd loudly plays Roblox with her friend over FaceTime in the front room !!

I'm full of snot today so nothing. DD had a riding lesson and DH took her to the stables as he loves horses. DS wants to play board games. Other than that a bit of housework and mainly sitting about.

Already been for a wet walk. Used to it and love it. Pottering in the kitchen, sorting things out, moving things around and messing with DHs mnd when he goes looking for something.

Just gad salad for lunch (i eat far too much shit) and were now going to move some sheep and newborn lambs. Then a hot bath, shave and a glass of wine.

DS on his PS as usual. Older teen still asleep, other teen away, and probably will text later.

Took DD for her swimming lesson, got home about half 10 then I made bolognese sauce for dinner tomorrow.
Having lunch now and then DD is getting her hair cut.
Might do some baking mid afternoon.
The rain is easing up here now which is good as someone is coming round to look at the guttering - DP is dealing with that.
Looking forward to a hot shower later, watching a bit of TV, and I’ve got the rest of the food order to finish off for tomorrow.

@MissGendered I'm still in bed. Dd6 has just made us all cheese sandwiches and is very proud of herself. I would be proud of her too.

Plan was to tackle some gardening with DH, it has now changed to tidying my home office. I am well known for having a tidy work area in the office, looks like a hurricane has swept through this room.

DH has gone to buy and deliver birthday cards for the numerous birthdays that happen this week. He has vowed to still do some gardening as he reckons the weeds will come up easier in the wet soil.

I will watch from the window in my tidy office
