Gym leggings that aren't see through?

stripes416 · 07/05/2021 18:20

I've realised how see through my current gym leggings are and so I'm in need of some new ones. I've been looking at asos and next but a lot of the reviews comment on how see through they are, even the branded ones that are really expensive. Any recommendations?

I buy mine in Tescos and they definitely aren't see through.

Roominmyhouse · 07/05/2021 18:24

My last 2 pairs have come from here, definitely not see through.

Fabletics powerhold leggings. Absolutely worth the money.

OVRUNS Yoga Pants High Waist Gym... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08PXZ7YBC?ref=ppxpoppmobappshare

I've bought these in a few colours. Not see through and feel lovely on.

M and S do some nice ones.
I had some from a company called rainbows and sprinkles who do lovely bright patterns and they were very thick, mine were a pattern on a white background and I was pleasantly surprised that they weren't transparent at all. Also slightly large for their posted size.

I like the H&M ones, the GAP ones are really good but more ££

LarsErickssong · 07/05/2021 18:28

I second tesco they are really good quality

H8624 · 07/05/2021 18:29

Nike or pocket sport. More pricey but definitely not see through

Spottysausagedogs · 07/05/2021 18:29

If you join fabletics do be aware of their policy of charging you for a pair of leggings a month unless you opt out.

Onedropbeat · 07/05/2021 18:30

Sweaty Betty? I get mine from Bicester village

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 07/05/2021 18:32

Sweaty Betty in the sale, £45 ish. Or Nike are good quality at an excellent price.

I think it's worth paying a little more for training bottoms as they take a bashing but will reward you with years of wear and wash up well.

I second H&M

Lucy loves lockets

HercwasanEnemyofEducation · 07/05/2021 18:34

Sweaty Betty in the sale.

Rainbows and sparkles are on my to investigate list. The patterns look fantastic and glad to hear they're thick too.

fruitpastille · 07/05/2021 18:34

M&S go move are great. I'm between sizes and find going up is a better fit.

MKCH · 07/05/2021 18:36

Love Leggings seem to be very good for this, or you could spend stupid money and get peloton ones (from their apparel store) which are fabulous but VVV expensive!! Almost £100 for a pair of leggings when they're not in the sale!

mum11970 · 07/05/2021 18:39

Asda do great leggings with the added bonus on a much needed pocket for your phone on most styles. High waisted with a nice thick band too.

Alarae · 07/05/2021 19:06

Just got my first pair of Rainbow and Sprinkles leggings and happy to say they are squat proof! They do go a sort of white colour if extremely stretched.

Otherwise my Gap leggings are fab, although admittedly my two pairs were bought when I was in Canada.

AuntieStella · 07/05/2021 19:19

Decathlon

Best VFM by a mile. Good fabrics that don't go see-thru, drawstrings, pockets

emmathedilemma · 07/05/2021 19:21

Sturdy by design

Some decathlon ones are ok but others are terrible!
I've only tried H&M ones on once and they definitely weren't squat proof.

cannaethink · 07/05/2021 19:35

I’ve got cheap USA PRO ones from sports direct which are great! They’re matte and really dark navy rather than black which makes me like them even more!

ChameleonCircuit · 07/05/2021 19:57

Sturdy by Design are my favourites. Squat proof, drawstring waist, zip pocket. They come in three lengths and sizes XS to 4XL. Totally comfy. I love em.

amusedbush · 07/05/2021 21:18

I like Matalan’s basic black gym leggings. They’ve started doing a pack of two, which is cheaper. I stock up and wear them around the house too Blush
