Interested to hear peoples opinions as opposed to the ever reliable tabloids 🙄

I must say that I am very excited about being allowed to book a holiday to Ascension Island. Does anyone have any recommendations of sights to see?

Well they REALLY REALLY don't want us to go abroad GrinGrinGrin

There's literally only one place I want to go to on that list - Iceland 🇮🇸

I would hitch hike to Palestine, before I would give Israel a penny of my money.

Iceland is amazing in summer- and indeed any time of year, it’s magical- but we still won’t be allowed in unless we’ve had both jabs 😭

@Moonstone1234

This is just like last year. Add countries so the number looks less than four. You cannot visit those countries but don’t let that stop you adding them to the list!

Why UAE and Seychelles on the red list ? The Seychelles has a fantastic rollout. And adding South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands is just plain stupid

Seychelles has got a pretty big (for their size) covid outbreak at the moment. They’ve just had to introduce restrictions and close schools. No idea which variant, but I’d guess Indian and there’s no chance of it going on the green list.

I do appreciate the silliness but don’t forget there are people in those green list countries who would like to be able to come to the U.K. - I’m in Australia and although in theory I can’t leave, we run a business in the U.K. and now at least I could come back and visit and only have to quarantine on the way back. It may be that people in these far flung places feel the same.
