Looking for ideas as I have no idea how to spend it. Grin

We put off housework and supermarket to do fun things earlier in weekend when we saw the forecast.

Lazing about in bed at the moment. Then got a bit of weeding an planting to do before the rain comes. Then supermarket, cleaning, washing, bolognese and a film.

We’re looking after my husbands little brother for the weekend, we’re taking him and my son to a petting zoo and going on an alpaca walk.

We’re taking a picnic, but we’re going in the camper so we can sit in there to eat if it rains/the seating in the petting zoo is full.

hopeishere · 03/05/2021 08:30

It's pissing rain. Still in bed.

Clothes sort and ironing.

Nitgel · 03/05/2021 08:36

I'm going to watch the car that has parked in 'my' space all weekend to see if it moves then take 'my' space back

Impatientwino · 03/05/2021 08:39

We had friends over in the garden last night and feeling a little delicate but not as bad as I expected so that's a bonus! Lazy day planned to be honest.

DH having a well earned lie in while the DC and I are vegging out with iPads and a cuppa for me.

I have my covid vaccine around lunchtime and then hopefully a friend of eldest DS is coming to play if he is well enough (he has epilepsy and had a big episode a couple of days ago)

Will drag everyone for a walk or ride at some point maybe

Roast chicken for dinner, bubble baths and early nights all round!

funtimefrank · 03/05/2021 08:43

Not sure. Had vaccine on Saturday night and was awful yesterday and spent the day in bed. Feel a bit better so far but still not great.

Dds are at grandmas (bubble) so she'll be dropping them off at lunchtime and I'll do a roast. Have some diy to do.

Frankly dh and I had planned a morning of sex but I feel like death and he has a bad back. So next step is to get up and make a cuppa as that's more enticing

I will try a walk later too. I am hoping no one will come with me and I can listen to a good podcast. Dh may well tag along though.

lucysmam · 03/05/2021 08:49

Ironing school shirts, baking for packed lunches, possibly make pizza dough for pizza pinwheels. Hoping a fly hatches to feed dd2's praying mantis.

Probably some crochet, definitely reminding dd1 to finish her history homework. I expect the girls will spend a fair bit of time Minecrafting too.

Brightermornings · 03/05/2021 08:50

@WillowSummerSloth

10k run this morning, drop kids at various playdates and supervise one myself. Force kids to do some homework, tidy, start to sort out basement, swim with kids, cook dinner together, probably a movie and a yoga class tonight.
Wow can you send me some of your motivation. Do you sleep??
Ragwort · 03/05/2021 08:53

Going to work Grin my own choice, can't face going for yet another walk, no motivation do find something more interesting to do so might as well work and have a day off when I choose to and can do something more exciting. Will do an hour or so of my voluntary role later.

DH is doing some gardening and will then probably catch up on work as well (WFH).

doodlejump1980 · 03/05/2021 08:57

Covid vaccine today for me too. Quite nervous!

garlictwist · 03/05/2021 09:21

I've been for a little spin on the bike. Going for a pub lunch with DP later - hoping the forecasted rain won't be too bad as obvs will be outside.

MrsDThomas · 03/05/2021 09:34

Staying in today. I have lots to do. Ive been working extra, and when the weather is nice and dry i go out. (I do go out in the wind and rain too, living in Snowdonia id never leave the house if I waited for the rain to stop!)

So ive made a list of things like cleaning the blinds and windows, 2x bathroom, bake a cake, roast dinner, sort a few cupboards out and help DD sort out her bedroom. Needs a very deep clean!

But its 9:30 and im still in my dressing gown.

imaginethemdragons · 03/05/2021 09:36

Aldi.
Laundry.
TV on the sofa.
Absolutely throwing it down here.
Lovely ☺️

Blueskythinking123 · 03/05/2021 09:40

I have an assignment to complete for a course I've been doing, so using the extra day to get that finished (takes pressure off in the evenings).

Keep looking at the weather, trying to decide if I should go for a quick walk before I start. Just to get some fresh air and leave the house.

Crunchymum · 03/05/2021 09:51

DP taking older 2 to the woods before the wind and rain arrives.

Me and toddler are going to chill at home.

Probably a takeaway for dinner so I don't have to cook and I've half a bottle of red that needs getting rid of Wine

AbsolutelyPatsy · 03/05/2021 09:54

i might empty the freezer and make a list of what it contains.

i want to watch the Sound of Metal

BrutusMcDogface · 03/05/2021 09:57

As usual I have too much to do and no motivation to even get started. Help!! 😭😭😭

AbsolutelyPatsy · 03/05/2021 10:08

rain not due here until this evening

TwoZeroTwoZero · 03/05/2021 10:08

Recovering from my covid jab 🤒

anothermansmother · 03/05/2021 10:11

Marking exam papers and ironing. When it stops raining we will go out with the dog.

confusedofengland · 03/05/2021 10:13

We've had a busy weekend of work, playdates, activities & visiting family, so a bit more of a chill out day today.

Boys finishing their homework, off for a wander round the village soon & pub lunch, then going to buy DS3 a new bike. Then bit of housework & early nights all round.

nextslidepuhlease · 03/05/2021 10:17

Rain called off our lovely plans of getting together with family outside.

Instead it will be bloody boring, I will end up doing housework I can't bear staring at. Kids will be on devices. Bit like lockdown!

Choice4567 · 03/05/2021 13:15

Well you learn something new! I did not know that about fee paying schools!

Silkiecats · 03/05/2021 13:40

Having a roast dinner postponed from yesterday. I'm recovering from covid jab. DH is cooking dinner. DD is singing, she had day out in London yesterday with friends. DS is just lazing around apart from feeding silkie chickens.

3CCC · 03/05/2021 13:58

Dog walking, job applications, supermarket shopping and house cleaning
