DH is working. I'm going to do some housework, pop to Tesco then hang out on the sofa with Ddog watching some mindless telly. I've been really productive this weekend so far so I'm not feeling guilty about having some lazy time. The weather is supposed to be appalling here later today so I'm planning on making pie and mash or something similarly comforty for tea.

Getting my vaccine!!!

Then planning on buying the children a huge ice cream, me a large coffee - and going on a beautiful walk.

It feels like a day for a celebration!

Egghead81 · 03/05/2021 07:13

joystir59 · 03/05/2021 07:21

Take the dog for a walk, get a coffee on the sea front somewhere, come home. Work in my studio for a while. Walk the dog again and go and visit mil in her residential home. Go home and eat something, put my feet up.

JaquelineBeanstalk · 03/05/2021 07:21

Dog to the groomers, and I still have a regular running club training session and dance class this evening.
Sorting out the airing cupboard and getting rid of surplus sheets and duvet sets.
Knitting and reading.
DH is making bread.

EdithWeston · 03/05/2021 07:24

Driving to walk in a different country park.

It's not far - just in the next county - but looking forward to a change of scenery.

Aside from that, not much

Shoxfordian · 03/05/2021 07:28

Yesterday we went swimming. Today lazing about, few housework jobs, then zumba this evening.

sumpplneedshaking · 03/05/2021 07:35

Nothing at all. Pj day as going to rain all day.

Youdontknowwhatyoureonabout · 03/05/2021 07:35

Yoga
Gardening
Baking
Dinner
Then early shower, pj’s & book in bed.
DH is going for a bike ride with his DB
Teen will be in bed all day because he spent half the night online. I know because he woke me up and I had to tell him to be quiet twice.

Whoopsmahoot · 03/05/2021 07:36

Work as usual, don’t get bank holidays

WillowSummerSloth · 03/05/2021 07:38

10k run this morning, drop kids at various playdates and supervise one myself. Force kids to do some homework, tidy, start to sort out basement, swim with kids, cook dinner together, probably a movie and a yoga class tonight.

bluechameleon · 03/05/2021 07:46

We are going to a local English Heritage place this morning. We will probably leave soon after lunch because rain is forecast. Then we will stick the DC in front of a film because I have a job interview to prep for.

beachsidecafe · 03/05/2021 07:47

Normal school day for us too.
Revision and homework this afternoon
work out whilst they are at school
Family walk with dogs if not raining too hard, or dogs refuse
clean out the rabbit
Eat something delicious later
Watch celebrity bake off with dc

GintyMcGinty · 03/05/2021 07:49

We are going to the safari park.

First day out for months. SmileSmileSmile

trevthecat · 03/05/2021 07:53

I will take the kids on a little walk near us which is full of wild garlic. I love it and then lazy afternoon. Just me and them this weekend.

annie335 · 03/05/2021 08:05

Bit of sewing, visiting DM then DFIL and fish and chips for tea.

MarjorieBouvier · 03/05/2021 08:06
@MarjorieBouvier where are you that schools are open on bank holiday?!
Not a normal state school. They have school on Saturdays and Bank Holidays to make up the extra long holidays.

wigjuice · 03/05/2021 08:06

My sons are with their dad, so I've got up early and cleaned. I've got a book waiting for me to cuddle up with. An empty, tidy, quiet house, bliss!
