What was your favourite night out snack?

Mine was chips with loads of garlic mayo. I must have had it several nights a week in uni! Eating after a night out wasn't a thing in my home town so I used to love getting food after a night out!

I lived a while in Stamford Hill, and I'd get the late bus home from drinks in the city after work. My stop was right next to the shop that served THE best hot salt beef bagels ever known to mankind. I'd always get one and munch on the walk home.
Then from my time in Manchester I'm also giving my vote for Abduls chicken kebab - no other chicken kebab comes even close @DragonMamma

One of my fondest uni memories were all the post club cheesy chips in a naan from a place on the Narborough Road - Leicester.

@DragonMamma

When I was in Manchester for Uni it was always Abduls for a chip naan. Food of the gods.

Latter years it was cheese and chips, sometimes with a pukka pie!

I bet that was Abduls on Oxford road near the Footage pub , Grin

Depending on the time of day I would either go to Geminis café ( day time ) or at night it was what ever was left over food in the students union ( I worked in there so would go and snarf any left over paninis )

Caspian kebab.

Chicken with garlic sauce is the best one.

Kebab shop in Chester.

Seems there are quite a few lovers of Abduls here , I have changes jobs since the heady days of night clubs and live bands at the Manchester Academy ,( anyone remember the Hop and Grape inside the students union a small gig venue lovingly and rightly nicknamed the Hope and Grope ? )
But I still work not far from there so I will call in next time its open and I am in the area .

Chicken nuggets for me. I was never really into clubbing or nights out but would go along with friends and spend the whole night looking forward to the chicken shop at the end Grin

I did also once leave a house party in Shoreditch, go to the Beigel Bakery on Brick Lane for two smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels and then return to the party Blush

At university we used to go for a curry at 3am, seems crazy now. In recent years I have rarely eaten late night food out as we tend to eat out, however we do eat cheese when we want munches at home

McDonald’s breakfast if we stayed out late enough was my favourite - sausage McMuffin, hash brown and orange juice
Or if it was a slightly earlier night then either a McDonald’s Big Mac meal or a share box of chicken nuggets.
If we didn’t go to McDonald’s I would have either a chicken kebab with garlic mayo and salad or chips, cheese and gravy from the chippy. Lol

Oh the student memories! Depended which end of town we were at. So either cheesy chips, pakora, or chicken fried rice.

Chips and gravy in my teens. I am now more worldly and would also add cheese.

Gardies' (Greek) giant pita stuffed with felafel and hummus and roasted peppers with tzatziki. Amazing and you could pretend you were being healthy (you were not).

... I don't know why I felt the need to explain that was Greek! Grin
