Is sex with your husband or current partner the best sex you've ever had?

DH and I are happily married with DC and are pretty compatible in bed, the sex is good, and we mix it up to keep things interesting after being together for 8 years, Very satisfied.

BUT, is he the best I've EVER had? No. There was a guy I had a fling with in my early 20s who could make my knees shake, especially when he gave oral. The sex was next level. He sometimes pops in to my head (like now) and I wonder how lucky his wife is, getting shaky knees on the regular.

Anyone else?

Yes DP is the best I've ever had. I've had 2 other serious relationships and a few flings in my teens/early 20s. Only one of them could really compare but we never had the chemistry me and DP have, so even though the act of what he used to do was amazing (knee shaking, like you mentioned) I was never really left fully satisfied. DP is great in bed and I also utterly adore him, so if I'm having... daydreams ... They are only ever about him. It's lovely really as I've never connected with anyone like I do with him and never thought I would.

Depends. It’s amazing but it’s not an insane physical connection like I had with one ex. I’m happy with that to be honest - the sex with that guy kind of drove me insane with lust and was both unsustainable and led me to overlook a lot of bad stuff from him. The best sex in general I’ve ever had with anyone was the sex with DH after DD was born. Yes I wasn’t in the best physical shape and I was knackered but we were saying so much about our love without using words and it’ll always be special to me.

MY DH is probably into what most women would call performance sex. Yet my previous boyfriend was very vanilla.

No, not at all. My ex husband was the best sex I ever had, he made it all about me and it was wonderful. But he wasn't wonderful in any other way, consequently he is my ex. Current husband is very wonderful, in every way except that one. To me, on balance, he is the best man for me and I can overlook that one thing.

On balance yes, neither of us are spring chickens so flexibility and mobility isn't as good! but enthusiasm makes up for that. Perhaps I've forgotten what it was like with exh pre kids, don't think he ever seemed to care for it that much. This is the same for me. He's my only but he knows what he's doing and knows how to satisfy me so never felt like it could be better. Always find it strange when people sort of feel like you're missing out by having only slept with one person but as long as they aren't rubbish in bed then it's great and why would it matter.

I don't think I have a 'best sex'. I've had great sex with different guys, and a few have been incredible and DP is definitely one of them.
