Would you use the Morrison’s salad bar at the moment?

I was surprised to see it open today, just as it used to be with all the trays open and tongs in each which you obviously have to share as you move along. There was no one using it mind.

I wouldn’t, and am very surprised it is open

In the local store here it's only the staff member who uses the tongs and fills the salad boxes so no members of the public handing things

Not only did our salad bar reopen we now have an olive bar we never had before.

The General Public are the worst. All filthy and unwashed, sneezing over the croutons. Yeuch, no thanks.

You get your own box and serve yourself just like before. Nice to see something back to normal to be honest!

I wouldn't but because I am more concerned about the transmission of things like hepatitis A rather than Covid.

I was a bit dubious in normal times especially when it was busy and people were chatting away and dropping bits from the tongs in the wrong trays (did it myself) so I don’t think I would use it now tbh.

What a bloody waste for the environment. Someone using a pair of gloves and chucking them away for a £2 salad

Almost no-one has COVID now. The odds of the one of the 10 people in the catchment area for your Morrisons who do being in front of you in the queue for the salad bar is vanishingly small to say the least.

I noticed in Morrison's that the salad bar was open and was a bit surprised. I think they 're a bit dodgy at the best of times, and I don t think i'm precious. Wouldn't use one ATM.

No but I do love a morrisons salad. I see far too many people failing to use the hand sanitiser on the way in to do anything like that.

Ours have put a hand sanitising station right next to it.

I would use it. I love a Morrisons salad.

According to government data there were fewer than 3 cases in my town last week. I'm sure there might be the odd asymptomatic person wandering about but chances are very small.
