Do you think that Fergie and Prince Andrew will get remarried now?

Prince Phillip couldn't stand Fergie don't blame him but now that he has died the way is clear.

It could be a new start for both of them - she's sorted out her debts and clattery lifestyle, and he needs a big PR win.

Just wondering...

She's authentic more than down to earth! I like her.

OliverBabish · 17/04/2021 13:24

I think the Yorks are the worst (including Beatrice and Eugenie)

I wouldn’t care if they got married again - they are both totally in love with themselves anyway

I think he is guilty of what he’s accused of but I think that Ghislaine will not sell him out. He’ll get away with it and I’ll hate him even more Smile

Rockbird · 17/04/2021 13:37

What's wrong with Beatrice and Eugenie? Or is it just a case of blaming them for the sins of their fathers?

Well, they are only royal because he is their father. I think that entire branch of the family will be sidelined.

Charles has been sidelining the Yorks as much as he can for a while now.

But quite a thing if they were needed & refused.

But then for the sake of their GM I could see them stepping up tbh.

Maggiesfarm · 17/04/2021 17:18

I think they may, not immediately though. On the other hand they might be quite content as they are. They get on well, give each other support and have co-parented their children into adulthood extremely well. Who needs a marriage certificate?

However they might do it just to regularise their relationship.

Good luck to them whatever they decide. Their girls would probably like it but they are adults living their own lives now.

Nothing wrong with them at all, they seem like very nice young women.
Springisspringing2 · 17/04/2021 17:42

I hope you for their dc sake they can sort themselves out, their poor girls!! And now gc!!

But it's absolutely not a pr win to have her marry him again. Nothing except his full supplication to American authority could clear or save him.

@lubeybooby

nah, she's 61 so about 50 years too old for him, vile weirdo that he is.

still can't understand the protection of him and ignoring the issues.

You need to be careful with what you are saying, VR is very clear that she was 17 and in the UK at the time, all of which is distasteful but perfectly legal.
ancientgran · 17/04/2021 17:51
@Kaptain my parents (mid 60's) and grandparents (mid 80's) still can't stand Camilla. I think it's only the younger generations that have 'accepted' her.
Well I'm older than your parents and I don't have an issue with her. I hope her and Charles are happy as I hope for any couple.

I think Diana was far from the saint some people like to imagine.

Cam2020 · 17/04/2021 17:56

My understanding is that they've lived in the same 'house' for years, own a ski chalet together, the Queen likes Fergie but Philip hated her and Charles does not like her either. She's wormed her way back in for official events a little over the years and shes defended PA throughout the allegations, his catastrophic interview, and the consequences - who's to say that she doesn't have a load of dirt in him and he's basically buying her silence? She has a, terrible financial history. No-one ever really knows what goes on behind closed doors!

You do realise he hasn't been accused let alone convicted of anything like being involved with 11 year olds?
diddl · 17/04/2021 18:01

"I think Diana was far from the saint some people like to imagine."

Perhaps, but that doesn't make her being cheated on more acceptable does it?

My husband’s 67 and likes Camilla. So does my mother, 83.

Maggiesfarm · 17/04/2021 18:06

Nobody did imagine Princess Diana was a saint. She was a vulnerable, flawed human being like all of us and it was that which made her so likeable. Many women identified with her.

felulageller · 17/04/2021 18:09

They live together anyway.

They might do it for IT/ legal reasons.

She had her share of relationships. I know people will tell me they know the exact moment he first cheated on her but that is more fantasy and gossip. None of us know .we do know that at some stage he reunited with the love of his life and Diana had several affairs

Lots of people talk about her like she was a saint, they are quite happy to overlook her flaws.

You need to be careful with what you are saying, VR is very clear that she was 17 and in the UK at the time, all of which is distasteful but perfectly legal.

The issue isn’t her age, it’s that she was trafficked. That’s the illegal bit.

ancientgran · 17/04/2021 18:14

Illegal doesn't make her 11 though.

She alleges she was trafficked, don't think anyone has proved that.

diddl · 17/04/2021 18:17

So it was OK for him to cheat because it was with the love of his life & his wife was no saint?

I would have respected them both much more if they had divorced first.

That said, I don't begrudge him his marriage with Camilla.

They seem happy together & very comfortable with each other.

GelfBride · 17/04/2021 18:23

Fergie is awful too though. People on here have short memories.

ancientgran · 17/04/2021 18:23

No I don't think it is all right because it was the love of his life but the fact remains he had one relationship while married, Diana had more. Can't remember them all now but there was the army chap who some people think is Harry's dad, then there was the heart surgeon, the art dealer, the protection officer. Who cheated first? I don't know and neither does anyone else.

Laburnam · 17/04/2021 18:28

Maybe they could remarry in Vegas and the FBI can question him on his involvement with trafficked girls and his on going relationship with Epstein even after the accusations
