Older girls pants

DD (13) doesn’t like shorts. However I’m struggling to find pants that aren’t - pink, days of the week, floral or all white.
There seems to be more choice in shorts. She doesn’t like white pants because of her period.

I’d love to be able to find mostly plain blue/black cotton pants?

@Janek

M and s have their full pants range online compared with very little in my local store. And I was surprised when skinny dd1 needed size 8 rather than the size 6 I had bought for her. In fact it made me rethink the size I wore too... And now I'm much happier in bigger knickers!
I found that I always need pants one size larger than I wear in trousers.

I get similar age DD plain black “invisible dance briefs” from Amazon for every day wear. They don’t show under leggings or cycling shorts etc. She has also bought herself some prettier ones from Hollister.

I’m not a perv Jesus. I haven’t asked for descriptions either. I’ve been here for a decade under several names.

I would have tried primark but the mile long queues at the moment put me off.

I’m not convinced the size 10-11 actually fit her properly and she’s not particularly small/skinny either.

I think all my local supermarkets must have crap choice.

I also didn’t particularly want to order/pay postage without having a look. I was hoping it was something I could pick up somewhere cheap (I will try primark next month)

Let her choose her own underwear. She will probably be wearing dark colours/bigger pants during her period and different ones when not.

H&M have always been a winner here.

I think you are just looking in the wrong section.

I was going to say M&S kids, with a raised eyebrow, as we always bought them there. But actually having checked, they only do shorts now in all black packs, which is a bit annoying.
Slightly off tangent but I do hate it when you can only buy black in mixed multi packs with flesh coloured or white knickers.

User478 · 14/04/2021 14:28

They don't always stock the tiny sizes in store. If you click and collect and they're no good you can return them.
These go to size 6: tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/p/Classic-Black-High-Leg-Knicker-7-Pack/136892010-Black?searchTerm=:newArrivals:colour:Black&searchProduct=

Next do black ones. My 12 yr old dd has lots from there
