We live in a flat, top floor. Last summer was unbearable - too hot for housework, cooking, sleeping and just generally living. We used a SWAN pedestal fan and a smaller fan in the bedrooms/kitchens. It was like living in a sauna, which was on fire and in hell.
So I want to be prepared this year and am thinking of getting either the Dyson tower fan or maybe an AC unit. Anyone know which would be the best bet? Maximum budget is a few hundred, could stretch to the Dyson.
