Thinking about this last night. If someone tells you to imagine your happy place, where are you?

Mine is Woolacombe beach.

By the sea. Not a specific beach, I'm just peaceful by the sea

Dowser · 12/04/2021 08:45

I have loads but because I didn’t get my December and March trips I’m going to say Tenerife.
Just sat on las vistas beach watching the ferries come in

TeenMinusTests · 12/04/2021 08:47

St Ouen's Bay, Jersey.

itsureis · 12/04/2021 08:47

Whernside, one of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks

longtimemarried · 12/04/2021 08:48

The local library will do for me.

huggzy · 12/04/2021 08:53

I just like to be able to see and hear the sea. I've always found it relaxing, I enjoy listening to the waves- but last year when we weren't allowed to travel I spent a while feeling so desperate to be near the sea, it was an odd feeling!

Also there's a country walk nearby that takes you up a hill, you can see for miles and it's beautiful. I like it up there.

Other than that, my bed probably 😆

SubCoral · 12/04/2021 08:56

I think I need to broaden my horizons, because my first thought on seeing your title was “I think it’s my bed, or actually maybe it’s my sofa” 😂

Summertime21 · 12/04/2021 08:56

Anywhere I can see and hear the sea, instantly relaxes me

Cam2020 · 12/04/2021 08:59

Porthleven harbour, St Ives or my own back garden.

roguetomato · 12/04/2021 09:11

Empty sandy beach in Scotland.

RainbowCrayons · 12/04/2021 09:17

The field near my parents house, you look over the field and past the trees by the river and you can see the church in the distance. Always on a summers day though in my mind, not like the last time I walked there!

Mabelface · 12/04/2021 09:18

My sofa when I have the house to myself. Coupled with fluffy blankets and the cat.

CurlsandCurves · 12/04/2021 09:19

Have to say, my first thought when I read the question was ‘home’.

Aside from that I don’t think I have a specific happy place. But my favourite feeling in the world is being in cool water on a hot day on holiday. So a pool or the sea with the sun on my face, that’ll do for me.

ParkheadParadise · 12/04/2021 09:23

My Bed

cushioncovers · 12/04/2021 09:24

My first thought was my sofa. I'm showered, fresh pjs, with a takeout on its way and a good film ready to watch.

tortoiselover100 · 12/04/2021 09:25

In a hot bath, with something to read, glass of wine, no disturbances at all!

IdblowJonSnow · 12/04/2021 09:27

Any green, pretty space where I can walk.

BIoodyStupidJohnson · 12/04/2021 09:27

@roguetomato

Empty sandy beach in Scotland.
Me too.

Let's hope one day we don't accidentally end up on the same deserted beach, resenting each other Grin

SubCoral · 12/04/2021 09:32

@cushioncovers I’m so jealous of your plans today 😂 Another day of endless Zoom calls with boring people whilst I sit on my own in the spare room awaits 😂

Amdone123 · 12/04/2021 09:33

When I can travel, it's sat on a balcony in the sun, reading, chatting and enjoying a cold glass of wine !
At home ( and I thought this just last night) it's when everyone is in bed and I'm sat on the couch with my dog !

Doyouwantanothercuppa · 12/04/2021 09:36

My house, or the green just outside my house. Or the drive through the trees when you arrive at Center Parcs. I’m not very adventurous!

NewLevelsOfTiredness · 12/04/2021 09:37

@TeenMinusTests

St Ouen's Bay, Jersey.
I'm more for the dramatic rocks out at Pontac or Le Hocq :) Perhaps Corbiere at a push...

But I left the rock years ago and now it's Amager Strand in Denmark.

bastedyoungturkey · 12/04/2021 09:37

The Isle of Wight

Devlesko · 12/04/2021 09:39

Travelling Wales and Shropshire in my vardo, but the chance isn't likely Sad

zukiecat · 12/04/2021 09:40

A local stone circle called Cothiemuir and Edinburgh.

Love to spend time at both places.
