Best ever episodes of TV comedy?

Was watching (for the 8 millionth time) Community and thinking about the best ever episodes of TV comedy.

Rules are you can only pick one episode from each programme, five shows in total. I’m going with:

Community - Glee / Invasion of the Body Snatchers episode (season 3, episode 10) (this is a very difficult one as there are so many)

30 Rock - MILF Island (season 2, episode 11)

Arrested Development - Afternoon Delight (season 2, episode 6)

Parks & Recreation - Ron & Tammy Part 2 (season 3, episode 4)

Party Down - Steve Guttenberg’s birthday (season 2, episode 5)

What are yours?

Coupling- the dinner party / lesbian spank inferno episode.

Although almost every episode of coupling has me absolutely howling so it's hard to choose just one.

Brass eye- "Nonce Sense" episode.

It crowd- Gay musical

The Inbetweeners- Neils 18th Birthday (Big Kerry episode)

Romans Empire- the episode with Uncle Jesus.

Possibly the funniest series I've ever seen and I'd highly recommend it although I'm not even sure where you can watch it now.

Friends - I second The one when no one's ready.
OFAH - when Rodney has to pretend he's 14. ( Do you want to watch the break dancing finals, Rodney ? Watch it ? Am in it !!)
The Royle Family - when Emma's 'posh ' family come over on Boxing Day.
Phoenix Nights- Singles Night ( Welcome to the erection section...!)
The Office - Training Day

Open All Hours - the episode about Jamaican Ginger Cake. Love it.

Curb your Enthusiasm - Beloved Aunt (or The Doll)

Friday Night Dinner - The two Tony's

The Office (UK version) - Training Day (or The Quiz)

The Black Books episode where Manny discovers that he can play the piano.

The episode of Only Fools when Rodney is an undertaker.

"I look like a wand"

Also anything Cam says in Modern Family

This Country - the one where Kurtan is learning to drive.

Schitt's Creek - when David has run away to an Amish farm

Friday Night Dinner - the Mr Morris episode.

The Good Place - when they all find out at the end of season 1

Bad Education - the Christmas one when they put on a play.

It Crowd - a gay musical called gay - we quote it daily - so, so well written

Father ted - lent episode, pat mustard or a song for Europe

Derry girls - orange order episode

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia- The Joke's on Dee

Frasier - Ski Lodge (or, tbh, any episode before Daphne's family)

FND - the Fox
IT Crowd - the gay musical or street countdown
Drop the dead donkey - Christmas party
Ghosts - redding weddy
Red Dwarf- back to reality

Red Dwarf - Another vote for Marooned (Closely followed by Time Slides, Dimension Jump and White Hole)

Blackadder 1 - the one where Edmund becomes Archbishop (followed by The Spanish Infanta)

Blackadder 2 - Money

Blackadder 3 - Dictionary

Blackadder Goes Forth - the Bob episode (Chipmunk!!!)

Derry Girls - first episode

Father Ted - the Christmas special still makes me cry laughing

Friends - series 3 where Frank Jr comes to visit Phoebe and Joey is doing DIY (If you get me you KILL me!)

Always Sunny - this one is really hard! Toss up between Dee ‘becoming’ a stand up success, Dee becoming a boxer or the one where Charlie is trying to sort out the health and safety review

Steptoe and Son - where they split the house in two

Arrested Development - daddy horny Michael!

Oh and the Ski Lodge for Frasier (when Guy says ‘really?’ It does things to me!)

Seinfeld - it’s a cliche but the Soup Nazi! Also like the episode where George decides to be honest and everything goes amazingly (is it ‘The Summer of George’?) and the one where George can’t have sex and gets clever/ Elaine doesn’t have sex and gets dumb

Vicar of Dibley - Songs of Praise episode

Spaced - the clubbing episode

The Good Life - Christmas special where they all get hammered on peapod wine.

Birds of a feather - The karaoke competition. Dorian singing "Like a virgin".

Harry Enfield- Women know your limits

IT Crowd-The dinner party

The Thick of It - every episode but especially the one where Nicola Murray speaks "off the record" and is overheard - "it's a newspaper office, not a fucking sanatorium for the fucking deaf" 🤣🤣

Father Ted - Kicking Bishop Brennan Up the Arse

Spaced - the robot wars episode

Black Books - when Bernard gets locked out

Dinnerladies - when Anna from Downton Abbey is there on work experience and the ladder gets stuck.

The Mighty Boosh - crimp!

What We Do in The Shadows - the cursed hat

@ShowOfHands I have every season of Coupling on DVD and have refused to get rid of them as I can't find the episodes anywhere and just can't get enough of Jack Davenport as Steve.

Arrested Development - All of the Nevernudes bits

Father Ted - Speed 3 or Kicking Bishop Brennan Up The Arse

Frasier - Three Valentines for the bit at the biginning where Niles sets fire to the apartment

IT Crowd -The Work Outing (although The Dinner Party and Moss and the German should also qualify. "Look normal. More normal!")

Red Dwarf - Marooned but also Queeg and Polymorph) The comic timing in Marooned when Lister is telling Rimmer about losing his virginity has me crying laughing. "You can't have been a full member of the golf club then".

Definitely the last episode of Blackadder Goes Forth. Makes me cry (sadly) every time.

Oh and Seinfeld, where he gets outed. "I wasn't even in!"
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

There’s some awesome ones here I definitely would have included if I had allowed myself more than five.

Colin Robinson’s promotion on WWDITS is absolutely amazing.

I think actually my favourite episode of The Office US might be The Injury. Very hard to choose though.

Oh and the binding arbitration episode of Silicon Valley.

Party Down is almost exclusively brilliant - shame there were only two seasons.
