I'm so sorry at all you've been through.

It looks like you're doing what is best and right for you. But I also know "go NC" is a phrase easily banded about on here, but much much harder to do and live with.
All you can do is control the bits you are able to control to best protect yourself. And focus on yourself and your family and be determined the relationships you have with your spouse and children are not what you've experienced previously. You can do it better and ensure there's love and care and safety there.
And hopefully it won't impact on your wider family as you fear it will. But if it does, focus on what you have.

Gorgeous warm sunny day here, and for the first time in over a year I have the house to myself!!! The silence is bliss with just the fishtank bubbling away. I will start baking shortly but I am just taking 5 minutes whilst the dogs settle down after their walk.
