Hello all! I'm still alive - need to read through the pages and pages that I've missed.

I had my vaccination last week and ended up spending 4 days vomiting and shaking. I'm usually very hardy - last time I had a day off ill was in 2012 so this was a bit of a shock to the system

Hello Pantry. Sorry to hear you suffered after your jab. My sister in law was like that too. She’s a deputy head - perhaps gets you school bosses more! She’s the only person I know that suffered. Hope you’re feeling better again. Are you younger than the rest of us? I thought we’d have all had it by now (apart from Steve).

I had my jab through work so have my second one coming up later this week . Just had sore arm last time so fingers crossed no worse with the second . I know a few people who were a bit rough for 24 hours but not really bad like Pantry. I read that the stronger your immune system the worse the reactions which is why the very elderly didn't get poorly after theirs . Don't know how true that is though .

That makes sense Shiny, I was thinking that my mother, who has everything else wrong with her, sailed through her jabs without affect.
