How did today go honey monster?

Ok. Really busy, but full team on so we coped. In a normal week we’d take £1500-2000. This week we took £5000! And I’m sick of people already. “Oh do I need to wear a mask, I didn’t know” “oh do we still have to do track and trace? I didn’t know” “oh aren’t we allowed groups larger than six? I didn’t know..”. Poor little kitchen girl had all the owner’s stress taken out on her. But I’ve survived the week. One down, five to go!

Yes I feel sorry for the kitchen girl. To be honest, she seems not to notice the atmosphere etc and says she’s fine when I ask if she’s ok. The other “regular” lady that works with me said she’d be livid if she knew her 16 year old was being treated like that.

That must be really annoying Honey, how can people not know those things by now? It must surely be harder for staff returning from weeks at home on furlough to be thrown in at the deepend. No easing yourself back in, a real shock to the system .
