Placemarking. My thighs are really strong because they do all the work. My glutes are clearly palming off all the effort onto them.Sad

Crosstrainer backwards. Intervals at high levels of resistance.

Honestly I look like I’ve had butt implants.

Yes Ex got one in my front room so I can watch TV while on it. I had to get one when gyms shut again at the last lockdown. I can’t cope with jogging as I need low impact cardio due to disc degeneration in my back (it’s been good for my back too). I normally do half backwards then half forwards between 30-60 mins depending on how I feel intervalling between mid level and highest level.

I have been using them for over 2 years consistently now and my glutes are the tightest they’ve ever been . Even my teen DD compliments my peachy arseGrin.

Lunges. With increasingly heavy weights. And not 2kg baked bean tins...I’m talking 16kg plus (obviously work up to this from your current ability). And increase reps. It needs to get harder as you progress.

Squats will work your legs more than your ass.

I say this as a PT.

Squats definitely work for my bum. Also split squats, lunges and donkey kicks.

Glute bridges and if they are too easy then do them single leg. That really burns

Romanian deadlifts and again if no weights do single leg. If you have weights you can hold them even better

Donkey kicks and bridges are good, I search for ‘booty workout’ on YouTube, there’s loads of good ones.

Squats DO work your glutes, I also say this as a PT and a successful bodybuilder who does no other other ‘glute only’ exercise.

I think the trouble with squats is not all squats are equal... a lot of people don't do them the proper way, so if you let your knees go further forward than your toes (not correct) your legs pick up more of the work, whereas if you make sure you stick your butt further back and keep your knees behind the toe-line your bum comes into play more.
