Wtf is this under my boob?

They’re about a 34gg so I’m quite sweaty but I’m otherwise slim. I walked about 7 miles today (usual for me)and it was warmer than normal. I wear an under wired sports bra more or less all the time since lockdown.

Can’t think of anything else relevant. Hope the photos ok so you can see it properly

It looks like a boil to me or the start of an abscess. I used to have a friend that was a 38hh and she used to get abscesses under her boobs due to sweating

GCSEmum1 · 03/04/2021 23:39

Boil. It'll be caused by the friction/sweat. Hot compress and then loads of antiseptic cream- stick a plaster over so cream isn't wiped off. If no change by Tuesday see doc just in case

Emmelina · 03/04/2021 23:39

I’d say it’s a boil too.

Charlieandlola · 03/04/2021 23:42

Boil - I have had similar - I sorted mine by putting a comped blister plaster on it snd leaving it until
The plaster dried it up

cupidsabsolutepsyche · 03/04/2021 23:44

If you get hairs on your boobs (I have bloody loads), then the dark middle looks like it might be an ingrown hair, aggravated by sweat/friction? Antiseptic cream should help. i dig about a bit sometimes and pull out a hair as long as my arm

UseHerName · 03/04/2021 23:45

Resoundingly a boil by the sounds of it! Thanks all - I had googled but it didn’t really help

If you struggle with sweating try liquid talc . Asda do one for babies .

UseHerName · 03/04/2021 23:54

Oh liquid talc sounds like a good idea

Give it a couple of days and see gp. As others have said looks like a boil but if no better best to get checked out x

masterofthechef · 04/04/2021 00:12

got something similar at the top of my leg due to jeans too tight and sweaty, was going to post a picture but this isn't Pornhub

DianaT1969 · 04/04/2021 00:17

I switched from shower gel to soap a couple of years ago (nice Italian olive oil soap from Tkmaxx) and have never had a rash or sweaty underboob since. Huge difference.

Neonlightning · 04/04/2021 00:24

Boil or in-grown hair from experience.

Whatever you do, don't force it to pop or lance yourself. Hot compresses will hopefully bring it to pop naturally. If it doesn't improve or gets worse, you'll need to go to the GP to have it lanced. If you try to pop or lance yourself, you'll end up making it worse and pushing the infection further into the skin, and will end up reoccurring.

UseHerName · 04/04/2021 00:27

Thanks all I’ve compressed it and put some sudocreme on it too

Cor that’s a beauty. Get this moved to sporner corner 😆

Justilou1 · 04/04/2021 00:37

You need antibiotics, OP! It’ll keep coming back. They are caused by staphylococcus aureus which lives on your skin all the time, but this has gone feral.

nobodysdaughter · 04/04/2021 03:26

I've just had a similar thing on my face, it was an abscess, but it had the same dark piece in the middle. I'd definitely ring 111, and get some antibiotics.

Toilenstripes · 04/04/2021 03:31

Magnesium sulfate paste will draw out and dry it up. Great stuff for boils.

moomoomummy · 04/04/2021 03:51

Draw a Biro mark around the edge of the red part. This way, you can monitor whether it gets bigger in next 24 hours. In the morning do the same.

Yes haha we will be waiting 😂
SakuraEdenSwan1 · 04/04/2021 03:56

If you start to get a temp with it please go to your local walk in centre, hopefully it will look a lot better in the morning.

UseHerName · 04/04/2021 10:46

Oh yes, the biro and temp are good points.

I’ll let the sporners know if it becomes sporner worthy 🤣

And something hairy is awaiting inside

Shock

LividLiving · 04/04/2021 10:56

I used to get these all the time when I wore underwires.

Switched to Molke and no scabby boobs.

I've been using ordinary talc (in the underboob area for sweating too), and wasn't aware of liquid talc. Have just added some to my shopping list to try, but can you tell me the advantage of it over powdered talc please, and what it feels like on the skin? Thank you :)
MrsWP · 04/04/2021 12:59

Wow hope it's not too painful!

If it isn't I'd be inclined to put a pin in it and see if I would squeeze anything out....

But then I'm quite a fan of Sporner Corner.....so I would say that. (And as for photos....)
