I’ve been to the tip! Grin
Washing out blowing in the sun and warm breeze.
Been for a coffee with a friend who I haven’t seen in a year.
Then to the beach for a paddle and to soak up some sun with my little fella.
Scampi for tea, perfect, just perfect.

Sat in my sister’s garden with my Mum, first time I’ve seen either since October!

imaginethemdragons · 30/03/2021 18:27

Saw my fist butterfly of the year, a red Admiral

Bugbeau · 30/03/2021 18:39

My 9yr old could play with his best friend in the garden for the first time since December. They are in different class bubbles at school and were so happy to be reunited!

ProfYaffle · 30/03/2021 18:41

Went for a walk on the sea front - met a couple who were out walking their parrots dressed in hoodies. Yes the parrots were wearing the hoodies.

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 30/03/2021 18:42

Husband and I ate our butties sat outside Stonyhurst college and gave our leftovers to the very insistent ducks and geese. Was lovely.

NeedWineNow · 30/03/2021 18:43

Took my laptop from the dining room to the garden and worked in the sunshine 🌞

Allmyfavouritepeople · 30/03/2021 18:45

Planted out my pak choi.
Made homemade pizzas and ate them as a picnic in the park with the DC. Took loads of blankets to sit on as the ground was fairly wet but like so many people I was happy to get a wet bum because we were outside in the sun!

imaginethemdragons · 30/03/2021 18:46

Hoodies you say....?
Actual PARROT HOODIES!?

I met a friend in the park and the children played happily with piles of sticks and pine cones.
It was just lovely.

AnyFucker · 30/03/2021 18:50

Laid on a sun lounger and made my face a bit red

That’s about it really

ProfYaffle · 30/03/2021 18:50

Yes, parrot hoodies. No sleevies, just vest hoody things.

imaginethemdragons · 30/03/2021 18:51

I’ve sown spinach, spring onions and rocket in my raised beds, and courgettes in pots.

I had a hot cross bun in the garden for lunch.

I took the dogs to the paw park with DH, and I wore a sleeveless vest top!

I walked littlest Ddog home and enjoyed seeing the daffodils and families playing in the park.

Cockles thoroughly warmed!

TwoZeroTwoZero · 30/03/2021 18:52

I sat in the summerhouse yesterday aft for the first time since Autumn and watched a bumble bee buzz about in the grass in front.

LunaNorth · 30/03/2021 18:54

I was going to go open water swimming, as my local Lakeland Park reopens today, but the water temp was 12 degrees, and I’m not that hardcore.

I think I’ll leave it a few weeks Shock

Baileyscoffeeandcampfires · 30/03/2021 18:55

I've caught up with the papers from Sunday in the garden with a negroni cocktail plus cheese and crackers for dinner. I have quite the buzz for a school night and I don't care

Teen dcs are old enough to deal with getting up for work / college themselves and I have nowhere to be before 11 tomorrow.

Going to make another negroni , grab a blanket and enjoy the garden for another hour

Lulu1919 · 30/03/2021 18:55

Bought some plants and planted then in my pots

HeyMicky · 30/03/2021 18:56

A butterfly landed on me in the garden.

TheNemesisOfLame · 30/03/2021 18:57

DH took the cover off the patio furniture. I'm sat out on it now...having picked some wild garlic leaves from the local riverside spot.

My rocket is sprouting in its tub and beans and courgettes are making an appearance.

imaginethemdragons · 30/03/2021 18:57

Things are definitely looking up by the sound of all of your posts mumsnetters!

Cockles are indeed warmed!

Got 2 loads of washing dry! And did some weeding while DD had her first playdate in a year! She and her friend were so excited.

devildeepbluesea · 30/03/2021 19:02

Continued the garden de-jungling in a vest top. Race against time now to get it presentable for the summer! But I reckon a week or so should do it.

IpanemaNova · 30/03/2021 19:04

I let my hens have a little roam about the garden and I sat in the sunshine with a cup of tea, watching them nibbling grass under the daffodils. Daffodil 🐓
