MinnieMountain · 30/03/2021 07:33

No.

Biancadelrioisback · 30/03/2021 07:34

Yes but DS knows it's really from us.
DSs birthday is just days before Xmas so for Easter he'll get something spring/summer ish. This year he's getting a garden slide.

Bunnybigears · 30/03/2021 07:35

No

Cornishmumofone · 30/03/2021 07:35

Yes - a single egg for my 4 year old.

Peasbewithyou · 30/03/2021 07:41

Yes, one egg each and some little eggs hidden in an Easter egg hunt. Plus a small non-edible treat like a little sticker book or toy or craft set.

LadyCluck · 30/03/2021 07:43

Yes - an Easter box which contains a chocolate bunny, a book and a craft set.

OppsUpsSide · 30/03/2021 07:45

Yes he hides some small eggs in the garden.

reluctantbrit · 30/03/2021 07:50

Yes, we hide small eggs, bunny etc in the garden or house for DD to search, she is 13 this year and obviously knows about the Easter Bunny but she still loves collecting her goodies.

She also gets a small gift, quite often a book.

DragonPoop · 30/03/2021 07:54

No DS (aged 3) knows it comes from mummy and daddy, I’m happy to go with Father Christmas but I’m not doing the Easter bunny or tooth fairy etc

DinosApple · 30/03/2021 08:07

No, they pretend it's the Easter bunny, but know it's me. I do them an Easter egg hunt with lots of small eggs and a big one at the end.

I got fed up with Father Christmas taking all the credit for my hard work, so never mentioned the Easter bunny Grin.

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 30/03/2021 08:11

Nope. Sometimes we do an egg hunt, but they know it is us

Strangekindofwoman · 30/03/2021 08:13

Nope. Never did the easter bunny.

Kollamoolitumarellipawkyrollo · 30/03/2021 08:14

No-we don’t really pretend about Father Christmas either though.

flossletsfloss · 30/03/2021 08:16

I can't believe those people saying no. What happened to a bit of excitement and magic for kids! So YES the Easter bunny comes to our family!

My kids both stopped believing in Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy by the age of 4 they are just those type of kids. They still get Easter Eggs they just know what is real and what is made up. We still have fun.

BabyBooDueNov21 · 30/03/2021 09:16

The Easter Bunny comes to us Smile

Brings 3 small eggs each for the kids, a dress ready for the nice weather and a small gift, usually a book. I'll also do an egg hunt, have got some little hollow plastic eggs that come out every year that I put treats in.

They do get lots of chocolate from family too but it all goes in the spare fridge in the garage so it's not tempting anyone, and quite often we'll end up baking with it. It's all a bit of fun 😁

My children only started getting into those things aged 4. They didn't even know about the tooth fairy until about 5.

No.

badlydrawnbear · 30/03/2021 10:11

He comes while DC and I are out and leaves eggs (Kinder egg sized ones) round the house and a map so DC can find them. I am sure DC (now 9 and 6) haven't believed it was an actual rabbit for years, if ever, but it is fun for them. They also have small gifts that are from us (though last week DH denied all knowledge that we give DC Easter gifts).

seatofmars · 30/03/2021 10:16

No, it's the Easter Chicken in our house, and yes, she does come!

dementedpixie · 30/03/2021 10:18

We didn't do the easter bunny really but did have the tooth fairy and Santa

I know, imagine how sad and unexcited my children are to get chocolate eggs, and be allowed to have chocolate for breakfast... Oh, wait...Hmm
dementedpixie · 30/03/2021 10:29

My kids still get chocolate eggs but they come from us, not a rabbit

Brogues · 30/03/2021 10:38

No, he just wasn’t a thing when I was a kid - just like I don’t fart on with elves at Christmas. They do get chocolate eggs though so they aren’t going to be upset.

Sandgrown1970 · 30/03/2021 10:39

No. They get eggs and a small gift/money but we’ve never done the Easter bunny in our families and don’t really understand what the tradition is meant to be. Easter is a religious celebration in our house too so lots of fun activities etc to be getting on with for little ones as part of Little Church. Nobody on either side of the family seems to have ever done Easter Bunny either and none of us had it as kids but still loved Easter and had fun regardless. I think we all see it as we would Elf on the Shelf (which we also don’t do).
