Good morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I was enjoying my first cup of tea in slience, but dd2's come down and put Minecraft on Youtube 🙄 I suspect her plans are to stay and watch more.

There's only really some washing to be done today, the house is clean and fairly tidy.

Unless anyone needs, or wants, me to do anything else, I plan to do the last 10 rows of a cardi I'm crocheting for dd1.

No idea what's for tea yet. Possibly curry, maybe. Definitely a or two!

I had my covid jab yesterday. Feel mostly ok, but have the sniffles and a slight headache, so am going to be lazy! I’ll read, take a nap at some stage, gently potter around! Maybe a film later.

DD has just gone off to her Dads for the weekend. DH is in the bathroom, if I'm lucky he'll reappear around lunchtime . I've sorted the cats and have come back to bed with a hot drink and my kindle. I've stopped taking painkillers and sleeping tablets this week for the first time in over 2 years and am feeling well and truly discombobulated. So I foresee a trip to M&S food and then a very lazy weekend!

Sweet FA until lunch time when I've got a cheese, ham and cracker feast to eat while watching snooker.

I had my galllbladder removed Thursday afternoon so I am taking it easy today and finding something good on Netflix to watch.

Watching telly and MNing in my PJs with a jumplead-strength coffee to hand. DH is putting the grocery delivery away solo because my grumbling was annoying him. 😄

Taking my 6yp yo hospital for an mri scan on brain and ovaries to check for tumours.

Joy.

Thankfully a) I think she's unlikely to have any b) she's a super brave banana and finally c) i ordered a tray of doughnuts for afterwards since we call the scanner the doughnut machine.

I showered, made bacon and eggs and a coffee, fed the pets, back to bed with my tablet for some chilled viewing. Probably will go to the park later with DCs.

mog poor dd hope she's ok - definitely deserving of lots of doughnuts.
Washing on, need to clean though never like to hoover too early on a Saturday (terraced house), so will start that shortly. Will go for walk to get some Spring sunshine then I have a ton of paperwork to plough through, which will take me all the rest of the weekend and into next week. At least it will then be done.

Had breakfast and washed up .

Next im going to vacume eldest darling is still in bed .

Husband is at work till 2

Youngest is glued to minecraft.

Im going to put a washload away , cacume the house and clean the hot tub out today.

I thought it was a good idea to do a jelly bath for the kids, they enjoyed it but the clean up was hideous.
Maccys, films and popcorn is the plan for the rest of the day, I might even sneak off for a read.

Relaxing day today. Had a hell of a week and today is the first day I'm not in excruciating pain (tooth infection) so I automatically feel full of the joys of spring! Have sorted out the kitchen and had some porridge (still soft foods only 😫) and will list potter about doing washing etc. I'm so happy for a dull uneventful day!

Up early, collected up laundry from around the house and threw it downstairs.

Walked the dogs.

Made a tomato sauce for sausage pasta tonight.

Made pancake mix and washed and picked over blackberries and redcurrants (bit of an extravagant purchase) for DC later.

Hoovered hall and sitting room. Swabbed downstairs loo, door handles, kitchen handles, taps etc with Dettol. Cleaned down kitchen surfaces, cabinet doors, sink and quick wipe out of fridge. Cleaned kitchen bin and plastic recycling crates.

DH and I had boiled eggs and toast at table and managed a wee conversation before teens descended.

Teens making themselves pancakes now and destroying kitchen I have just cleaned. I have made myself scarce and put laundry on.

Now relaxing with a coffee and researching heated dryers (#not very exciting)

In middle of massive declutter and spring clean. My knees hurt.

Been up since 7am with DS and am now hiding in the bedroom after a shower, having passed the baton to DH.

Long walk to the bakery after lunch, then park on the way home. Veggie lasagne for tea with a few wines, then maybe a film later.

Just back down from Snowdon. Very cold up there this morning. Quick lunch and im off for a quick walk with my DD. Then relax, pizza and a couple of beers. Kids doing their own thing as usual and DH will watch sport and potter

Still in PJs here. Just had lunch. We were going to go out but kids don’t want to get dressed and want to watch telly. I’m ok with that tbh. Might hop in the bath and read which will feel marginally more productive than MN.

Work has been mental for the past 2 months so think I’ve hit a wall today and need to do nothing.

We are off to the beach got a walk. It's clouded over and we should have gone earlier

DS2's birthday (12) is tomorrow but he'll be at his dads so we're celebrating today.
I'm cooking half of the Dishoom cookbook for dinner.
Feeling a bit under par generally so interspersing cooking with lolling on the sofa watching F1 coverage.

I'm still in my PJ's 🙈 But about to have a cup of tea and some lunch, then need to shower and change as I'm having a band practice today 🎸🎶

I had my covid injection on Wednesday, and have felt quite poorly since I am feeling a lot better today but today I am going to rest up a lot.
We've been to the Butchers this morning, tried to nip to the Farm Shop but the queue was ridiculous so we left that, and now we're sat watching gogglebox and having some Cheesecake :)

Painting the front door. Taking down pictures and polyfiller holes. We're moving house in a few weeks.

Did a BodyPump workout, ran 4 miles with dd1 now sitting in bed eating hula hoops and chocolate. I'm going to sort my wardrobe out now which is always satisfying.

Made a lemon drizzle cake for pudding today and went for a little walk, going to play a bit of animal crossing later when DD has quite finished. DS is napping and when he wakes up I expect he'll convince me to sit in the ball pit with him. OH is isolating in the basement due to covid exposure so I have to make him a cup of coffee once in a while and take it down to him, and try to remember to take down his dinner (I forgot the other day!)

Mog I hope your dd's ok. I love "brave banana", have never heard it before! Donuts sound like a well deserved treat afterwards.

I'm down to 7 rows to go (it's the back, not the whole thing like I said in my OP 🙄). Pretty pleased with myself; it's my first big project. I need to find a "Folklore" patch for it at some point.

I'm doing a wardrobe sort too Not the full Kondo but almost, giving myself three hours to sort it, and will carry on tomorrow if necessary.
Did a Pilates class this morning, made a lunch of leftovers and a delicious white bean dish. Later I'll do a load of veg to roast with chicken and chicken peas for dinner.

DH is away looking after his mum who's recently home from hospital and I'm pleased to have some space to tear the wardrobes out and have a good sort out.
