Good morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I was enjoying my first cup of tea in slience, but dd2's come down and put Minecraft on Youtube 🙄 I suspect her plans are to stay and watch more.

There's only really some washing to be done today, the house is clean and fairly tidy.

Unless anyone needs, or wants, me to do anything else, I plan to do the last 10 rows of a cardi I'm crocheting for dd1.

No idea what's for tea yet. Possibly curry, maybe. Definitely a or two!

2 hours of hard graft in the garden and now I feel in pain from all the bending so DH and I are having a glass of vino pre- lunch

I'm going a walk soon. Its forecast rain here at 3 and and rain till Thursday so if I don't go now I'll never go.

Got up at 7:30, all got dressed and had breakfast, with a plan to go out in the garden... and then we just didn't. Spoke to DM for awhile. DD(7)did some dancing, DS(2.5) played in DD's bed (hiding under the covers etc!). Then we got the PlayDoh out. We also did some colouring, which mostly involves DS dictating what gets coloured but not actually doing any himself!

Had lunch, I had a 15min nap whilst the DC watched Peppa Pig and DH watched whatever he's still watching now. DD is currently moaning about doing her homework (just English, already done maths) and DS is torturing me with more Playdoh.

Pasta bake for dinner.

Formula one and a trip to the opticians to collect new glasses for DS

I’m still in my pyjamas snuggled up with the dog watching Behind Her Eyes.I was up early and have done 2 loads of washing,cooked breakfast,cleaned the kitchen and made a Victoria sandwich
Dd is doing online dance classes and Dh has gone to do some work at his studio.
Having a takeaway tonight and will probably watch a film with Dh

I did a couple of fitness classes over Zoom this morning with DD. We were going kayaking this afternoon for the first time this year but we inspected the kayaks and one of them has a hole. DH has gone out in search of duct tape. DD has gone to the corner shop for sweets. DS is playing on his Switch and I'm sitting on the sofa having a rest between laundry loads.

It was a Nice morning here. Took kids to park for a play.
Housework done everyone is a bit tired. We plan to watch tv and relax and take away for tonight.

I went for an early walk with a friend.

We were all going to cycle to the park but the 7yo had a restless night with a very snooty nose and has refused to go out.

So DH has gone to the bike shop to discuss a new bike, DS is having lunch in front of the TV and I’m listening to You’re Dead to Me podcasts.

We’ll have fancy filled pasta in front of a film later.

Went for a run this morning with a friend.
Did a bit of life admin (bills, forms for school trips etc) and a bit of work.
Put on a wash.
Cooked lunch.
Now about to tidy the kitchen but just sitting down with a coffee and MN first.
Making the most of the last quiet weekend before the DC's weekend sports matches re-start!

Worked this morning then went for my weekly rapid test. However, the restaurants have opened here so I enjoyed lunch with my friends after work - the nose swab is definitely less uncomfortable after a large glass of wine

Did some chores this morning, then we all went to the allotment and did some digging.

DH is now off to the garden centre for more supplies. MiL is having a nap, and I’m supervising DS playing out on his bike. DD is reading upstairs.

I will be heading back to the allotment again shortly but not sure if I’ll convince the others to come for round two!

MiL is cooking pasta later and I also need to make sure I nag the DC to do their homework, rather than leaving it all till last thing Sunday like last weekend. We seem to have forgotten how to do weekend work during lockdown!!

Went for a 30min walk this morning, followed by just over an hour on my static bike and a strength class. Paid the council tax bill. Arranged to meet some friends in their garden next weekend for drinks and nibbles. Had a bath. DH made some lunch and I'm now considering a nap.

Ultra lazy day for me,dh and ds 7.

We’ve basically just sat on the sofa all morning fiddling about on our gadgets with the tv on in the background. We did go for a walk to Tesco and back.... exciting times!

I've managed to hoover and mop the floors and dust downstairs (upstairs is still disgusting). DH took the DCs out for a while to get pet food and I watched a couple of episodes of the walking dead. Now chilling with some cava whilst DH cooks chicken stir fry.
