People scare me.

I mean I think the things I've posted are fairly likely to happen at some point. I just find them quite terrifying!

I find the idea of intelligent robots quite scary.

Sinkholes. And dying before my children are grown up.

I am also not fond of intelligent robots.

Other things that scare me are the thought of the extreme consequences of climate chang and the fact that women’s rights are currently constantly under attack from both the extreme left (‘uterus havers’) and the extreme right (‘abortion should become illegal again’ etc.)

Global and local impact of climate emergency.
Antibiotic resistance (and misconceptions about what this means).

People....one-upmanship, gossip, judgement, selfishness, discrimination...we ruin each other on a daily basis.

The way the UK has got very right-wing very quickly with some scary laws in parliament now

The way people will vote for dreadful leaders

So many things...

Losing my job and not being able to pay the bills
Climate change
War
CJD - apparently growing up in Britain means we can't donate blood in much of the world because we could be incubating the prions for decades until we get it
My parents getting older

I'm going to stop now and try and think about happy things

I've got into my 60's now, and I've seen many things happen which scared people to death at the time. And yet, life goes on and we're all still here .

Don't waste your energy being scared of things which will probably never happen.

As the song says, don't worry ! Be happy.

That I will end up like my mother.

A pandemic that kills children and young people.

Modern funfair rides.

Vomit and vomiting.

Death...my mum died at 52...im almost 47....the thought of leaving my kids alone terrifies me.

Dark, deep water.

Dog poo on the pavement.

Heights.

Getting a cold - I dread them as I always feel so ill.

Severe poverty

Homelessness and sleeping rough

Cancer.

Nuclear war.

Tomorrow. I am scared of what tomorrow's appointment will bring.

Racists/prejudiced people.
My DP leaving me (don't think he will, I'm just a bit 'anxiously attached').
Wasting time/life/not achieving goals.
Heights and rollercoasters.

Most of the things people have already posted.
Also train station platforms - my teens get the train occasionally and I have a fear of someone pushing them onto the tracks - I always say "remember to stand against the wall until the train has stopped and only then get on!"
