What do your children wash their face with?

And do they use moisturiser/SPF? I've been taking mire care of my skin recently and its paying off. It started me thinking about my 2 DC, ages 4 and 5. They have a wash in the morning, bath at night (most nights) . We don't have a shower. So in the morning they use a face cloth and water. At night, the same but probably more soapy as they are in the bath. I remember as a child using imperial leather soap Shock

I've also just seen on a skincare FB group, discussion about children wearing facial SPF daily all year round. One of my DC reacts badly to list sunscreen so rarely wears it on his face even in summer, just has a very good coverage sun hat, hes never burnt.

Is it really necessary? Year round?

Just water (when they remember to do it), sometimes with flannel, sometimes with hands.

They wear sun lotion when it's very hot in the summer but that's it.

I wash DS with showergel suitable for babies every night, including his face. After showering, I slather his body including his face in a bodylotion that is designed too to be used on babyskin. In the morning I clean his face with just water and a flannel and I put SPF on his face, hands and neck when we go outside, 365 days a year regardless of the weather.

Reluctance.

@VenusTigeri I do only use water on their face though, ds1 gets a dry patch. A child's farm wash for body/muddy bits, sothey might get some of that on their face in the bath.
