Anyone else having trouble?

I have been unable to use the app since Last night. I uninstalled and reinstalled this morning and I'm having to reset my password but my account is still in the "waiting period " whatever that means.

Has anyone else had trouble signing in?

I've been having trouble since last night too. Now lots of my other apps are crashing too despite restarts and reinstalls. Dh's phone seems to be fine

Yes it seemed to start with Facebook. I couldn't open it. Then I restarted my phone. Twice and that seemed to fix it but then I couldn't open my emails. Restarted again. Nothing. Left it over night. Nothing. Uninstalled it this morning and I am.now.locked out as I can't get any link to reset or anything. Also wont work on the PC where the password is defdo right as its stored

If you Google it then it's something to do with an Android update gone wrong - Web view I think. I went into the Play store found Web view in my installed apps then uninstalled it. All good now!

Its happening with lots of apps - a problem with an Android System Webview update. If you go to the Play store you can uninstall the latest update and it should fix them - worked for me.

And what do I do with the email cis it needs a password now and I cant get into it :(

Go into the Play store - in My Apps find Android System Webview, click on it and you should get the option to uninstall updates.
Sorry, don't know about Hotmail.

Tried that lemon on 2 devices. I need a password but as I requested a reset it doesn't work.

I had this when I accepted a system update when I was on holiday in the USA. The next morning I was locked out and told it didn't recognise me - I had no way of getting in again as all my passwords were saved (in disguise!) on my phone. I've gone back to writing encrypted passwords down and keeping them in my wash bag! Good luck, it's a horrible feeling.

I've got a Samsung, apps were playing up last night. Can't open emails today, I don't want to uninstall the apps that are playing up as I need to reset my passwords 😩.

Yes i am having trouble with hotmail since last night too! I also have a Samsung. I am not techie so glad to know it isn't anything i have done wrong.

Actually when I went into the android webview app it said an update was pending and when I installed it, everything started working again (amazon, Hotmail and some other apps) which had stopped working this morning! Which seems to contradict the advice to uninstall the update!? Confused
