Very “Trump”.

HelgaDownUnder · 21/03/2021 18:20

The Essex house has a massive built in bookcase filled with sets of leather bound books. Did the owner buy them by the yard? I wonder if any have ever been read.

@NoProblem123

There’s lot of houses like this near where I am. All owned by ex-travellers who now own massive caravan parks. Millionaires row with the mop bucket by the Ferrari.
Are you in Morecambe by any chance? 🤭

Regarding mannequins....... at our previous rental, which was quirky (aka in piss poor repair but cheap for size and location) we had a large unkempt and secluded garden. Had you visited you would have been greeted with half a dozen mannequin torsos sprayed matt black and sporting obsolete video cameras as heads. We're a bit "creative" lol.

In side you would have met a mannequin sporting DPs old re-enactment armour, festooned with fake ivy and fairly lights in the shape of skulls plus red fabric ties in strategic positions.

We rigged a bar in the front room using a black sprayed coffin with a perspex lid, that contained a black sprayed skeleton clutching a funerary violin against a red lining.

Happy days - in the summer we put up a medieval tent with solid chequerboard flooring to entertain.....

We no longer have a garden, but our bed is a black four poster constructed from scaffolding with a canopy of decorative swords.

It's just us, but most people seem to appreciate the quirkiness Smile or they're just being kind. But we like it Smile

Is that not the second self contained bit so I’m guessing a second small kitchen.

Not too far away @Thewiseoneincognito !

I think it’s a kitchen/living room. It says it’s suitable for 3 families to live in the house. Some of the bedrooms are so so small. It’s very random inside.
Lovelydovey · 21/03/2021 18:30

There’s a weeping angel in the bathroom! Too much for me, though love the size of the house.

Horizons83 · 21/03/2021 18:31

@Wondermule

Fuck me! The WAG version of Norman Bates!
That made me properly LOL! 🤣

The skeleton Grin And bizarre picture over the stairs
Its a famous painting of lady Godiva by a pre raphaelite painter! Philistine !
HappyWinter · 21/03/2021 18:34

Am I the only one who is gutted that there isn't a video?

bpirockin · 21/03/2021 18:35

Oh my, but I have to say for the most part I absolutely love it.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 21/03/2021 18:41

The only thing attractive about it is the size and openness.

But I daresay anyone with the best part of 2 mill to spend on a house would have enough spare csh to change everything anything they didn't like.

For myself < shudder >

HerLadySheep · 21/03/2021 18:43

Proof that money doesn't buy class! That Eagle in the hallway reminds me of the Nazi's

PutTheBathOnPlease · 21/03/2021 18:45

It’s to prove that money can’t buy taste

Nightbear · 21/03/2021 18:47

It’s the bog standard wood flooring with all the statues that does it for me Grin

Chicchicchicchiclana · 21/03/2021 18:48

Absolutely amazing! I'd love to meet the owners Grin.

hellywelly3 · 21/03/2021 18:52

I actually really like it

LadyEloise · 21/03/2021 18:52

The owner says he got inspiration from a tour he did of Buckingham Palace. Shock

SD1978 · 21/03/2021 18:54

Picture 15- is that a toiler, a shower, a sauna, I don't know what, a couch, and an outdoor setting all in one?! 🤢

FlaviaAlbiaWantsLangClegBack · 21/03/2021 18:55

Adside from all the other stuff, why does that wooden kitchen look like someone's gone crazy and installed a billion handles on the cupboards? Is there even some on the skirting board?

FlaviaAlbiaWantsLangClegBack · 21/03/2021 18:56

Aside. DYAC
