I love these posts!!! The skeleton at the table is just amazing 😂😂! It's probably a divorcing couple and she doesn't want to sell so she's added a few touches to put buyers off 😂. Get rid of the weird decor and furniture and there's a nice house under there... Somewhere!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 21/03/2021 21:24

I don’t think a woman lives there....

ThePluckOfTheCoward · 21/03/2021 21:28

I don’t think a woman lives there....
Oh, I was thinking Bet Lynch lived there.
evelynina · 21/03/2021 21:35

It's mad but interesting every house is dull grey with the same interiors.

mathanxiety · 21/03/2021 21:35

That house reinforces all the prejudice I have against vertical blinds.

cricketmum84 · 21/03/2021 21:36

Omg my ex-boss lives on this road! I hope it's not his house 😂

hansgrueber · 21/03/2021 21:38

@CatherineCawood

Brilliant find. I was brought up in Alwoodley, Leeds. Lots of 'footballer wife chic' round that way! What a corker!
Tells you a lot about Alwoodley, I could speculate about the owners! Even for there £1.65m is excessive, some bedrooms are minute for the price, one's a cordoned off bit of the dining room.
Yapplepearora · 21/03/2021 21:52

@Ginisallyouneed

I bet you’re fun at parties

3CCC · 21/03/2021 22:01

The outside is alright

But the skeleton, gothic dining room table & chairs, lady Godiva painting, the creepy bathroom sculpture & mirror reflection

Like the kitchen and conservatory

Libraryghost · 21/03/2021 22:31

I have a terrible nosy hobby. I regularly check Rightmove out to deliberately seek out the McMansions. The more tacky they are the bigger the enjoyment. Sometimes I even get a tub of ice cream out and properly indulge while I smirk behind my IPad.

Gardengrace · 21/03/2021 22:35

What is a plant room??? And the entrance hall is a bigger area than the house keeper area, or perhaps they are expected to sleep in the garage? 🤔 It's very personalised and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be so creepy old rock and roll stars sex den looking or if it's just a statement.

covetingthepreciousthings · 21/03/2021 22:55

There's a lot going on. I want to see more of it though.

LoisWilkersonslastnerve · 21/03/2021 23:03

Well we all like to look at statues boobs as we relax in the bath. Confused

BruceAndNosh · 21/03/2021 23:11

I'd rather have one decent kitchen instead of 3 small ones

Yapplepearora · 21/03/2021 23:14

@Libraryghost.

So glad I’m not the only one! I’ve branched out to the US now but still enjoy the U.K. ones. Straight onto property sale sites...immediately filter it from highest to lowest price and get stuck in

MarieDelaere · 21/03/2021 23:18

I still haven't got past pic 16 and the Orgasmatron.

A Shakespeare Set ??? Possibly Harry Potter

lljkk · 21/03/2021 23:52

Wow, it's gorgeous. There was only one room I didn't like.

I loved the skeleton with wig -- I wouldn't one want one myself, but made me laugh. None of the decor is my style, but the layout & possibilities are enormous. Two Kitchens! Is it a fair price for that much space in the area? Seems possibly quite cheap.

HeronLanyon · 22/03/2021 07:06

kids2 well well. Absolutely love that there are properties like this and people like this busying away on a lifetime’s ‘project’.
That vaulted area has shades of the mezquita in Córdoba and anyone buying could have further decades of enhancing it.
And all just 15 mins from terminal 5.
I would absolutely have loved to see the face of the hapless estate agent on the tour and on their return to office/colleagues.

pointythings · 22/03/2021 07:45

Kids2Hounds I really like that one. I'd want to change the interiors to be less fussy, but those outdoor spaces are gorgeous.

Arrowheart · 22/03/2021 07:49

[quote cricketmum84]Little interview with the owner on our local news if anyone is interested 😀

He sounds quite a good humoured funny bloke who just likes buying weird and wonderful things and then wonders where he is going to put them judging by this interview.

@Diva66

At least it doesn’t have a body in the garden.
It might, we don't actually see much of the garden.
CarrieMoonbeams · 22/03/2021 09:09

Och I don't know, you have to admire someone who picks a theme and goes for it. It looks immaculate anyway, and they've obviously had fun choosing the stuff. Bet some of those pictures (or the frames, at least) cost a fortune.

I absolutely love the chandeliers.
