I’m looking for inspiration.

Not tuna.

How do we know what tins you've got?

There's no point making a suggestion if you need to go and buy it. You may as well stock up your fridge at the same time.

I'd probably do beans on toast if I had bread and a tin of beans.

A selection from my store cupboard next time you are peckish:

Oxtail soup
Mushy peas
Rice pudding
Butter beans
Whiskas turkey
Prunes
Black treacle

PandaFluff · 20/03/2021 16:49

@Tablegs

Whiskas with a treacle sauce and a side of mushy peas.

Granovita veggie pate - but that's quite specific. Also (hot) baked beans.

PandemicAtTheDisco · 20/03/2021 16:55

Mashed up tinned butter beans with chopped up sun dried tomatoes, lemon juice and garlic, salt and pepper. I add defrosted, avocado slices too.

PandaFluff · 20/03/2021 16:57

Have you got those tinned toast toppers? They were horrible.

PandemicAtTheDisco · 20/03/2021 16:58

Mushy peas, tartare sauce and fish fingers?

Starborn · 20/03/2021 17:06

Golden syrup!

TheBusiness · 20/03/2021 17:10

Ooh I could have had chopped banana with golden syrup.

I like the crab sandwich suggestion although that is one thing I haven’t got.

Have you got tinned banana then?

Coronation chickpeas, surprisingly delicious.
