Lovely calligraphic writing, duck eggs, no idea what Little Moons are!

Have a guess which supermarket it was Grin

Waitrose?!

Oh I love this... what are little moons?
Macaroons?

MummytoCSJH · 19/03/2021 16:17

A big Tesco or Waitrose? Little moons you can only get in a few places. They're really popular on TikTok at the moment, they're little ice cream balls covered in mochi. Not a fan myself!

Wagsandclaws · 19/03/2021 16:18

Waitrose.

OfftoSainsbos · 19/03/2021 16:18

Waitrose?
Yes Little Moons are little ice cream ball things.

Who has the time to write a shopping list that neatly?!

Finfintytint · 19/03/2021 16:18

Little moons are artisanal ice cream balls. I think Tesco do them but I bet this was Waitrose.

Whirlwind14 · 19/03/2021 16:20

Oooh... I’m off to buy some!! Grin

PetPaperPigeon · 19/03/2021 16:22

Whole Foods?

toffeebutterpopcorn · 19/03/2021 16:22

Wholefoods. Little moons are not very nice - it’s like eating bath oil pearls..

LApprentiSorcier · 19/03/2021 16:23

Fulton's Food.

Just kidding. M&S.

ragtimeloves · 19/03/2021 16:24

Lidl or aldi?

Crunchymum · 19/03/2021 16:25

Absolutely has to be Waitrose.

Such a posh list. I'm jealous.

Tlollj · 19/03/2021 16:25

Beautiful handwriting. I’m guessing Waitrose.

Todaytomorrowyesterday · 19/03/2021 16:27

I would say Waitrose

Little moons are not nice odd consistency...nope they went in the bin!

fallfallfall · 19/03/2021 16:27

i don't know but i'm a huge fan of miracle grow, i like the water saving variety for my hanging baskets so they don't dry out.
need to get some fertilizer for my yew hedge...
shop on ;)

MarkRuffaloCrumble · 19/03/2021 16:28

Yup Waitrose! Must have a look for the little moons next time I’m there as the DCs are fans of Mochi and all things Japanese.

Who has the time to write a shopping list that neatly?! I guess when your list is that short it doesn’t take long Grin. My enormous list of 2 weeks worth of shopping would take longer to write than it would to eat!

Looks like a lockdown skill!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/03/2021 16:31

You could frame that list. The older I get, the worse my handwriting becomes. I find myself struggling to remember how to do it, as I hardly ever have occasion these days to put pen to paper. Blush

On the odd occasion that I do write, I love using squared paper. Not sure why.

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 19/03/2021 16:38

Love the writing and the colour of the ink. Not sure why 'duck eggs' is indented?

canyon2000 · 19/03/2021 17:12

I didn't know people still wrote shopping lists! I thought most people used their phonesShock

It would take me far longer to faff around finding the notes bit of my phone and then type everything in than it would to scribble my list on the back of an envelope.

Plus, my phone can then stay safely zipped in my bag rather than be at risk of being absent-mindedly dropped or put down somewhere.

Before I had a 'househusband' to do the shopping, I did however have a pre-printed list I'd made on Excel and I would simply tick the things I needed that week so I am not a total technophobe Grin

I still use paper list so the family can add to it during the week too. And easier to cross off when shopping (without accidentally deleting another item). Plus I'd probably end up dropping my phone.

Possibly because of the 'g' in bagels
toffeebutterpopcorn · 19/03/2021 17:51

Always paper - 1 my flipping glasses steam up so I can write huuuuuge, and 2 if whoever is shopping with me starts getting on my nerves I can just tear it in half and say ‘ok let’s split up and do this faster’.

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 19/03/2021 17:54

@sansucre that makes sense! My brain desires order and I couldn't see beyond such a beautiful list being out of line. I'd have just started it on the line below.

Never thought I'd ever be so interested in someone else's shopping list! That's lockdown for you!

Nope - I am a luddite. Write a shopping list in the correct order (Tesco shopper).
