If you were getting a pedicure, would you shave /wax your legs beforehand?

Currently getting a pedicure, I haven't shaved since October and look like a monkey. Bit embarrassed really

I shave my legs every time i shower so not sure if I would do it specially! Probably not because I’m lazy Grin

Itstheprinciple · 18/03/2021 17:06

I'd shave the lower bit!

LaceyBetty · 18/03/2021 17:07

Yes, at least around the ankles.

They won't care either way, but if you'd prefer them not to see your leg hair then you should remove it.

KatherineJaneway · 18/03/2021 17:09

Yes I would.

LApprentiSorcier · 18/03/2021 17:09

No, but I cut my own toenails anyway.

grassisjeweled · 18/03/2021 17:10

Hmm crikey, so I AM lazy.

Yes.

Zoomzoomelephantboom · 18/03/2021 17:10

yes. but I had them layered 15 years ago, so don't have to worry about shaving anymore Grin

Zoomzoomelephantboom · 18/03/2021 17:10

*lazered.

Figgyboa · 18/03/2021 17:11

Yes, I would.

EiffelPower · 18/03/2021 17:11

No, haven't ever shaved anything. Or had a pedicure for that matter!

BaggoMcoys · 18/03/2021 17:11

I wouldn't but if you think you'd feel embarrassed or uncomfortable then maybe do it for your own benefit? You don't have to if you don't want to, it's just hair and I'm sure they'll have seen it before.

HeronLanyon · 18/03/2021 17:11

Oops meant to add but I wouldn’t see it as essential ! Don’t worry op. It’s all natural and we shouldn’t really be worried about this at all anyway. I was slightly embarrassed to realise I would say yes !

JellyBumNBellyHun · 18/03/2021 17:12

You will get remarks from people telling you don't need to shave etc or that they haven't. You will get comments from people saying they would. It doesn't reflect on you as a person in any way, shape or form. Don't worry!

grassisjeweled · 18/03/2021 17:12

Next time I'm going to shave. I swear the woman next to me is Hmm

OP posts:
Forkorspoon · 18/03/2021 17:16

I would probably shave to just above the ankle. Same as I do when I wear ankle length trousers. I don't bother with the rest because they are never seen outside the house.

LubaLuca · 18/03/2021 17:16

I've just realised that you're actually mid-pedicure! Never mind, the woman next to you can sod off avert her eyes Grin

HeronLanyon · 18/03/2021 17:23

Yes as old fashioned as this sounds won’t your pedicurist at be more offended by you being on your phone ??? 😆

Honeypickle · 18/03/2021 17:31

Oh God, pre last lockdown I was having a pedicure, hiked up my trousers and realised how hairy my legs were. I personally was mortified and really uncomfortable- just wanted it to be over ASAP, so all the enjoyment and rare relaxation time completely disappeared. Never again!!!

bluebluezoo · 18/03/2021 17:33

No. But then I don’t think I’ve ever had a pedicure Grin

The woman next to you can fuck off with her judgy face.

jessstan2 · 18/03/2021 17:38

Yes I would but always did them daily anyway before lockdown, been a bit lazy about it since, so I suppose I wouldn't be doing it especially for a pedicure (I've never had a pedicure).

WantChewbaccaForGood · 18/03/2021 17:45

I'd shave my feet too #blessedwithhobbitgenes

User57392985 · 18/03/2021 17:46

I’d have to shave my toes 😂 so May as well do calves while I’m at it.

converseandjeans · 18/03/2021 17:49

I'm not a particularly groomed person but shave armpits and legs every day. I wouldn't go to have a pedicure with hairy legs.
