Brilliant to hear this. They have approached three charities in UK including Mind and a charity to increase diversity in the media and press.

Great, doing good based on their experiences.

It's the truth!

Sprining · 15/03/2021 22:13

It is an odd twist in the thread, which was simply to discuss charities and stay away from political bunfighting

People seem to have no views on the charities mentioned, but lots of sniping 🙄

Yes, it's in the link I just put up. Strong in the States. Weak in the UK.

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 15/03/2021 22:13

@Roussette

Harry the man who actually did sell his grandmother - I've handed someone a title for the next biography, I can see it now

And that's not a nasty comment?? Shock

A factual comment I would say😂
Marmaladeagain · 15/03/2021 22:13

I know cokie he wasn't 20 in 2012, that's why your article from 2012 isn't irrelevant to it's reporting when Harry was 20.

Roussette · 15/03/2021 22:13

Just ironic to accuse people in a post of nasty comments.

Then follow up with a nasty comment!

Roussette · 15/03/2021 22:14

A factual comment I would say

In your world maybe...

Sorry I didn't see it had been mentioned
MiaowMiaow99 · 15/03/2021 22:15

Have the charities responded to the 'approaches'?

Marmaladeagain · 15/03/2021 22:15

Goodness anyway. Harry needs to say who it was in his family.

It isn't ok to accuse them of racism and not name them and thrash it out and give that person the opportunity to become this hero that Harry has become after his racist reformation.

Cokie3 · 15/03/2021 22:16

@Marmaladeagain What does being 20 have to do with anything? The article that VocalDuck put up where it makes the "reported" comment was written on 13 April 2012 . Harry wasn't 20 then, so your comment about him being 20 is utterly IRRELEVANT.

Roussette · 15/03/2021 22:16

He's not a hero. But neither is he spawn of the devil.

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 15/03/2021 22:16

I could be wrong but pretty sure I live in the same world as you or are you an alien from another planet. Here to worship all crash sit and chats.

That's all they know. Gaslighting, projection and being unkind and nasty.
Roussette · 15/03/2021 22:18

Here to worship all crash sit and chats

What does that mean?

As for 'in your world'. I am quite obviously talking figuratively. As you well know

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 15/03/2021 22:18

@Roussette

I thought people were saying he was though. The royal family being racist and all that

Wish people would make up there mindsGrin

Sprining · 15/03/2021 22:19

How would I know? That’s why we are having a discussion - what do these charities do, what is the support being offered, what impact the support might have and any personal stories from some of the lesser known ones.

I was just hoping for a pleasant chat, you k ow. Something not polarising and negative

The interview 🤷‍♀️
Sprining · 15/03/2021 22:19

Sorry, that was to @MiaowMiaow99

OP posts:
Roussette · 15/03/2021 22:21

I've never said he's a hero. And no one on here has, as far as I' ve seen the thread.
That's just jumping to saying stuff that no one has said.

MiaowMiaow99 · 15/03/2021 22:21

But Ive not been able to find what the support offered is? Can you?

Roussette · 15/03/2021 22:22

Still not sure what crash sit and chats mean.

I'm a bit lost, I'll go to bed I think 😂

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 15/03/2021 22:23

The charities at the moment will be thankful for donations from anyone. Covid has hit fundraising hard at a time people need help the most.

If having any connection with Harry and Meghan can bring in some extra cash. That is a good thing. I can't see any charity turning that down at the moment.

ListeningQuietly · 15/03/2021 22:24

Which charities?
If its the four you listed the other day
one is not a charity
one is in the UK and nothing to do with the royals
and the other two are opaque US based foundations

so M&H really should get on with their private post royal life

Sprining · 15/03/2021 22:26

@MiaowMiaow99

But Ive not been able to find what the support offered is? Can you?
I found this for PressPad:

Crellin said the organisation was approached by members of the Archewell team. She said the money would help the charity and its sister social enterprise give their team financial stability, as well as expanding its scheme by taking on apprentices through the Kickstart programme.
