Tonight we are having minestrone with cheese on toast.

Tomorrow a steak and kidney pie with brussels, parsnips and mashed potato.

Sunday - I like something light and easy in front of the tv. Possibly breakfast for dinner, so baked beans, eggs and sausages.

Oh duck! How do you cook duck? I only manage to make it dry (once had success with a confit).

The only thing I've planned menu wise for this weekend, is to instruct DD to tell DH that for Mother's Day, I want the biggest cheese and charcuterie spread I've ever seen in my life. She's a good girl, she knows exactly what I have in mind and will definitely sort that for me Grin

Brunch, Lunch and Dinner? Surely that's breakfast!
PattyPan · 12/03/2021 14:22

Tonight is veg korma leftover from too many days ago
Tomorrow probably Thai green curry
Sunday nut roast with roast root veg and potatoes. Aka bung it all in the oven day Grin

PurpleDaisies · 12/03/2021 14:29

@idontlikealdi it’s brunch because it’ll be at 11am. That’s too late to call it breakfast in our house. Then late lunch, late dinner.

I’m not sure it really matters though. Smile

PurpleDaisies · 12/03/2021 14:35

I have been thinking and just realised I define “brunch” by when the McDonald’s breakfast menu ends. Blush

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 12/03/2021 14:47

Tonight is a greek aubergine stew with poached eggs on top andgarlic bread.
Tomorrow is pad thai and Sunday DS is trying his hand at his first roast dinner for mothers day. 🤞🏻
