I've stopped watching GMB and unfollowed him on Twitter because I don't want to hear about it day in day out. I half expected him to have a heart attack on air this week knowing how wound up he'd be.

Exactly. People want to see PM being PM. There's always the BBC or the radio or whatever if they don't.

I am very surprised that GMB had a male weather presenter and not a blonde woman under 40 as is normally the case. Or was when I occasionally watched it before Piers Morgan started presenting.

I don't have an opinion on the royals or MM really, but from what I can tell, GMB is the televised version of the Daily Mail. He's a fucking troll, he really is.

I agree with the poster who said it seemed really fake and setup. Piers can put up with much, much more than that from people - why did he walk off? The weatherman didn’t really say anything bad to Piers at all. Weird.🤷‍♀️

When you chase ratings you end up bottom of the barrel. GMB is ITV's equivalent of Mrs Brown's Boys thanks to Morgan.

What summed Piers up was for months last year he was screaming and shouting, day in day out on GMB, to cancel Christmas. "It's just one year", "it's only one day", "Covid doesn't care that it's Christmas". "Stay home".

What did he do? Go to Barbados on the quiet and try to hush it up. Refused to even discuss Christmas on GMB when he came back.

If it was staged this has backfired on GMB. Beresford should be the co presenter. Let Piers do the weather and have his little rants.

Alex Beresford's Twitter I think shows these two havent been getting on for awhile.

I think its now a toxic work environment and neither can continue to work together so it will be interesting to see which way it goes
