Do you know what, I don’t actually think it was set up? I don’t believe that he wanted to leave. Piers is an attention seeker and loved the fact that GMB gave him this massive platform Even if he is snapped up by one of the right wing channels, he is unlikely to get the attention he so desperately wants. He will still slag off Meghan, but I don’t believe that there will be as much interest in what he says, He will still write for the Daily Mail, but he will not be on our screens . In a few weeks all the attention will die down and we will all just get on with our lives

Obviously Piers was over the top but that said he is entitled to his opinion however I am also appalled at Meghan retaliation about her concern on others mental health, what effect does she think her interview having on the mental health of the rest of royal family particularly the queen who is currently dealing with a husband in hospital. I just think not for the first time she is being hypocritical.

Have been unable to watch GMB because of that vile bully aka Piers Morgan. Really looking forward to the show now without him. He is entitled to his opinions obviously, but his refusal to let anyone complete a sentence raises my blood pressure to dangerously high levels. So, fellow Mumsnetters join me in giving the new look GMB support - as falling viewing figures would boost his ego.

What I meant is that Meghan says she is concerned about the affect of his comments on others but she obviously wasn’t concerned about the mental health of Harry’s family or for that matter her own.

On the contrary the interview seems to have opened up a discussion about mental health.
Viewing mental health issues as something shameful to be dealt with in private behind closed doors is generally not seen to be the best approach.

There is a different between talking about mental health and your personal battles - in an abstract way to making allegations . The former allows an open discussion as indeed has been the case with the Cambridge's the later is very different

I dont agree with all his views but he is entitled to his opinion, no matter how extreme that might be. Whatever happened to the good old maxim that "I dont agree with what you say but I would defend to the death your right to say it?"

I am concerned at how free speech is being increasingly stifled in this country by the pathetic snowflakes and the woke brigade.

I haven't watched the interview and I didn't watch Piers Morgan, I've only read news reports. Personally I don't like Meg or Piers tbh. He is arrogant and she is manipulative in my opinion.

Yes. pM was a total snowflake when Alex have the chance for fee speech and said he was concerned he allowed his hatred for Maghen to rule his opinion.
